I wish we could have a parade.

Every parade needs a reyn.

Thank you Tai Chi for your well wishes. I'll pass them along to my wife. Smile

Hamb, actually I've been around most days, but frequently I don't post. I do check certain threads on a regular basis. Hoping all will go well!

Very Happy Thanks Eva for your thoughts. It's nice to be missed. I should be away more often. Laughing

Letty, thanks for the cute picture. Hope all is reasonably well with you.

Laughing Dys, at least you're consistent. You should read what you wrote here about me in 2005. Even spelled my name right.

Dadpad, how the heck are ya and how's it going in the land down under?

Reyn, i've been occupied with own little day-to-day challenges, so hadn't noticed your reappearance until now. sorry to hear you have so many concerns, and wish you & yours the best of health & everything else.

i still remember the awful times i had trying to get my cat to swallow amoxycillin. that was long ago, before the internet even. the only part i could do well is rub the cat's nose so it swallows, but hardly ever managed to get the mouth open & stick the pill on her tongue. Razz

Hi Yitwail. How the heck are ya?

My wife is the expert at handling all things concerned with cats. fortunately, too, our prescription is a liquid antibiotic.

I don't know how well I do when I take over on the 6th to finish all the meds. We'll see.

In the meantime, the kitties seem to be doing very well with appetites continuing to improve. Waiting for litter box activity to return to full normality though. Kory is the holdout with his bms.

we're still adjusting to the rigors of life in the tropics Cool

i didn't have much better luck with the eyedroppers than the pills, either, but i'm sure you'll do a yeoman-like job.

hope you still have time for casual chess; i'm now at a site where i'm on a team, and being the highest rated player on the team--guess i should have picked one with a bunch of hotshots--i'm stuck with a bunch of tough games. i'm holding my own, but it's silly feeling pressure to win on behalf of the team's standing. Confused

No, I no longer play chess. I left both sites and I'm onto something else. I don't seem to have the patience for it.

I hope you do well.

there isn't anything I can say reyn that will help, but I can pass on a virtual hug and hope that all of these road blocks that are coming up just dissolve and leave you two happy and healthier later on.

Thanks Chai and Wolfie for your well wishes and caring thoughts. I will pass them on.

On another note, the cats seem to be doing well, but the concern continues to be their BMs, but the vet feels that should turn around soon. I sure hope so. One less worry.

In the meantime, the clock ticks down to the 6th. Shocked

How's the weather your way. Buckets of rain here the last little bit, but has stopped for now.

thanks, Reyn. i'm doing OK. it *is* a test of patience sometimes, especially the players that stall when they're losing. i always enjoyed our contests, so hope you can get back to it sometime.

I'll be honest with you on that point. I think there's little chance I'll be back playing chess. I'm caught up in an online graphical type "adventure game" which I find lots of fun.
