how are things on the west-coast these days ?
we spent the weekend in toronto taking in some nice shows , saw ehbeth , set and cleo and bailey .
we took the train - about 2 1/2 hours , so didn't have to worry about ice or snow . quite relaxing to sit back , have a coffee , read the paper and arrive in downtown toronto without having to fight the traffic .

That train ride sounds quite pleasant. Our family took the train from Quebec to BC in 1956 when we immigrated to Canada. Can't really remember anything since I was 5.

It's been quite chilly (for us) out here. Mostly rainy, but tonight is threatening some flurries, or maybe even snow.

Back to rain for the next several days.
