reyn, i think i figured out why some people at a2k don't care for chess. they're bothered by a game that has bishops. i think we could get rich if we designed a set for evolutionists that has scientists instead of bishops--have them look like test tubes, maybe. ;-)

Hmm, well he is a puppet after all. So, I'm imagining that may not even be at all possible.

I once knew a guy who sat in the Peanut Gallery at a Howdy Doody airing. He was highly disillusioned to see the strings being manipulated and people talking for the puppets, so he said.

I suppose the same thing would have been for The Muppet Show as well.

Yeah, H, a nice link. My wife says the Punch and Judy is more of an English thing.

When Piggy and Kermit are on, I feel like they are just like me and my first wife. You're certain they ain't real, huh? Oh, well.

Well, I did see one of those "behind the scenes" type of shows for The Muppets and it was rather revealing seeing them use those sticks and such. Laughing

What is your projected life cycle Reyn, and what do you plan to do with your remains? I may have use for them.

Those are rather strange questions to ask, but okay.

I hope to live longer than my father did (69).

I'm going to be cremated. If I die before my wife, she will keep my ashes, and they will be scattered with hers when she passes on, by my oldest daughter.

Next question....

Hey, hiya!

Well, I'm playing chess at the same time I'm posting here, and I've got a real exciting game going right now with a higher rated player than myself that I'm anticipating to win.

It's a nail-biter!

I wish a few of you guys here would play, too.

Scrabble, yes. Chess no. I don't have that kind of mind.
Good luck though.

I've got one of those deluxe Scrabble boards at home here. My wife and I play occasionally. Although, I must admit I enjoy the chess more.

I've been playing chess at this one site since 2000.

What is the purpose of your commonly used phrase: "Next question....", does it serve some deeper need?
