I'm just laying low a bit. Will probably be back in full swing in a few days.

I seem to be in a bit of a funk. I'm not as happy as I used to be here.

reyn, a lot of people seem to ponder giving it up, or even announce it, but wind up resuming. i never announced it, but did consider it a week or 2 prior. so hope you overcome it & do chess & a2k both.

Oh, I was just absently speaking my mind outloud. I'm sure I wouldn't leave 100%, but there are times when it seems that the "mood of the board" has decidedly more negative than positive stuff going on.

There are some real nice folks I'd miss if I weren't here.

Friend of mine's putting together a real airplane from a kit. I certainly hope he doesn't ask me if I want a ride and doesn't fly over my home with it.

It's probably about Cesna size. Don't know for sure. I barely have the guts to fly commercial planes.

Laughing hehe, Nice plane there, DJ!

Edgar, the last time I flew in a plan was to go to my sister's wedding about 3 years ago. It wasn't a real small one, but I had forgotten how boring the trip was. Took about 2-3 hours and not much to look at out the window.

More disturbing than planes are helicopters. I worked a job 50 miles in the gulf one time, but quit because riding the choppers unnerved me.
