Well, that's certainly a good example to illustrate the different climates we live in.

We got a few more inches of snow here today, but it seems to be disappearing again. Had some rain. The temperature is supposed to dip down to minus 3 Celsius tonight. Brrrr!

Today was "balmy" (the weatherpeople on local stations always say that sort of thing when we get late, temperate weather). It was in the low 50s. More of the same tomorrow..... pretty nice actually.

Edgar, naked? Shocked Laughing

Hmm, K, doesn't the Boston area usually get lots of snow? When does it arrive?

There have been some years when we have had no snow at all. Many times, here in the southwest corner of BC, we have the mildest winters in Canada.

We're the snowiest major city in the US. So, I've heard. We can get snow anytime between october and may, but it usually hits between december march.

We've had avery mild autumn.

Yes, same here. Hope the winter isn't insane this year. I guess I shouldn't complain, but we're not used to really bad ones here, just lots and lots of rain.

How much snow have you folks had there, Husker?

The forecast threatens to continue with possibly more here tomorrow. Hopefully, just wet stuff that will melt quickly.

No, no, Reyn! Not naked...nekkid!

Obviously, you don't understand Texican. Let me explain. "Naked" is okay. It's for babies and artworks. "Nekkid" is naughty.

A big yuk!

The worst thing though is freezing rain. That's when power lines and tree branches snap big time!

Well, thanks for the compliment, but I'm betting there are many more folks here that know more than me.

I'm in a rush for work this morning. If you have a pic you want turned into an avatar, post it here and I'll see what I can do.
