I think I've already talked about it within this thread somewhere.
Needless to say, who knows if any cancer will come back? I don't really believe in "cures" in some cases. That's not to say it doesn't happen. It's just that the word is bandied about way too often. No disrespect to oncologists, but it just doesn't seem quite right.
I've heard of stories of someone's cancer coming back after 10, 15, 20 years, etc. I was told that once you've passed the magic 5 year mark, you were definitely "cured". It's been 10 years now, so I'm doubly "cured" now, right?
In my case, I was extremely fortunate that it was caught early. It was non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which when symptoms present themselves, you're as good as dead. I had none.
Mine was discovered by accident while looking at another problem.
