No no, you're fine. All three of us can kick one ass, we don't want any more asses than that. And you have stand still, too!

oh my, where to start....

Harpoon Fest - yeah! I wonder if I'm still a friend of harpoon or if I have to renew each year.....?

What the hell is that May thing? It looked like a bit of ribbon. It's construction? More web-searches are inevitable.

Slappy - you're right, of course (did I just say that!?!?!), I should have hopped in the car and showed them the way. It would have taken me less time to walk back than to drive there. Damn one-ways.

Craven.... oh poor Craven, I fear even you would not be able to handle us en masse.

What is the May thing??

First of all, you have to wear your best, like so:
http://www.liptovskesliace.sk/photo/maje.jpg

Then young gentlemen will erect this gigantic pole with a pine wrath with ribbons at the end, so that the world knows you are in demand by single gentlemen, like so (although ladies are not supposed to carry it, they should eagerly await inside):

Smaller versions are acceptable in the cities. When they plant the monster in your front yard, you are expected to come out through the gate of arms they create and greet the gentleman whose idea the whole thing was. of course you offer food and drinks, so, as is a good habit in those parts of the world, by noon hardly anyone can walk anymore. Whole lot of singing and dancing (those less drunk) involved. Like so:

Oh, I'm perfectly willing, if not physically capable of handling ALL mankind's espionage efforts. I would tackle the work valiantly.

I said so loooong ago.

Ah, so you did Craven, so you did. And, have you gotten anywhere yet with your quest?

Dag - like May Day? I thought the ribbons on the May Pole were woven by children skipping around it in opposing circles....? So, no whipping involved with this may thing?

the smoking ban doesn't extend to people's houses after all, or to the streets. Just within the bars. And that's just Boston and Brookline.
