Well, I got your attention. A friend of mine is playing at the HOB in Hahvahd Squayah this saturday night. The main name is Vic Chesnut, he's an athens, GA staple. I'm guessing (I've never seen VC play - bad littlek) it's folky with a sense of humor. Then again, My friend curtiss is playing with him, so it may be more rocking than I expect.

Any one wanna go? It's 12 - 14 bucks to get in.

tix and tunes

This is it for the A2K Boston Gathering? One jazz outing without so much as a few days warning? Come on! You can do better than that. c.i.

Ummm, I doubt the tix will sell out. Maybe we should buy in advance just in case?

You need to establish dates that may attract the most people to Boston. You might begin by looking at the time of year when Boston has the most to offer visitors. I've been to Boston once with my wife, my brother and his wife, but that was many years ago. I wouldn't mind another visit to Boston, because I know you have some good museums. We already did the Freedom Trail and Harvard Square. c.i.

I like Boston.
Have they finished that new road yet- you know the one- the biggest construction project since whenever? And is it better than before, traffic-wise?
Although we came in on the train.

Great free concerts in the city square on summer evenings.
I saw/heard the Air Force band there, they were great.

No, of course they haven't finished that damn road. I don't think it's ever going to be finished. They have (finally!) finished the big bridge and opened parts of the underground bit.

Just about my entire maternal family is buried in Chelsmford Mass, including my mother and I've never been there.

If you do a gathering would a foulmouthed southern bear be welcome?

Sure, BPB!

Re this Saturday, right now I'm waiting to hear on some family stuff, so everything's kinda up in the air.
