From Central Virginia, USA: On Wed morning the forecast was for a paltry 1 or 2" of sleet/snow mix. Now, Thurs evening, we're up to about 6" of snow and it is coming down hard and heavy.
I made it to my retail shop w/o difficulty early this morning, and one of my managers got in around 10 am. About 2 pm we decided that the cost of the electricity to keep the lights on was greater than our sales. So we went home.

Supposed to be the last day of Summer today. No sign of it getting any cooler though. And I'm not complaining.

Hope your summer lasts a bit longer for you, Wilso. Very Happy

Mom has been gracious enough to humour my affinity for cooler temperatures ~ our A/C has been on for two days now and probably will stay on until December.

It hasn't been terribly hot here at all lately, but the mugginess and humidity is ever present. Probably wouldn't mean much to non-Floridians, but I can feel it. I'm already missing our short winter..... Crying or Very sad

High: 80° F
Low: 62° F

Today: Showers ending early with some clearing overnight. Low 62F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies early. A few showers developing later in the day. High 76F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

Humidity has returned with a vengeance, and I'm not complaining either ... I can cool down, but it's not as easy to warm up:)

Howdy Misiti26

Cool here in North Texas today- in the 40'sF and 'misti' with low hanging clouds. It appears our weather is being influenced by a Pacific Low (which is not to be confused with a Mexican High!)

The weather looks very nice. Unfortunately the chills and sweats of influenza are preventing me from appreciating it.
