Hello all! I DO so appreciate being back in Florida
after the trip to my oldest daughter's family in
South Carolina. It was FREEZING there...then I
get home, have one nice day and darned if it
doesn't almost freeze me again. Such an odd turn
of weather for Florida??? It's been years & years
since it has gotten this cold. It's good in respect to
the fact that we will have less mosquitos this
coming summer (I hope)....but it sure does some
nasty things to my already aggravated joints. I
can hardly move - I am almost like a cold blooded
animal in the winter. Can barely move, except for
necessities.

Currently 26 C in Sydney, 21.5 C at Parramatta in the western suburbs. It is allegedly going to rain (actually thunderstorms) over the weekend. We need the rain, the whole damn country needs rain.

C.I., have a good one mate!!

HI, misty, c.i. and mr.still: weather report from kingston, ontario, canada "sunny and COOL( minus 10 celsius = 18 f); forecast for early next week: sunny and COOLER(nighttime low minus 25 c = minus 15 f? our thermometer doesn't go that low). please have mercy with an imported canadian and send some waaaarm weather! the immigration officer in germany only showed us pictures of a sunny and warm canada. still not a bad country; been here for 37 years, so i guess we'll hang around 'till el nino makes to eastern ontario. hope you all have a great day! (we think the cold winter will help kill off a lot of the mosquito and other insect eggs - there is a cheery outlook).

It is snowing here in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and there have been about five gazillion car accidents with more to come, ugh.

JD, We also get five gazillion car accidents with the first rains every year. People forget how slick the road gets after all those summer months of oil drips. c.i.

Misti, I'm not so tired of snow 'cause we don't have much, but I am tired of the cold. It's -13 tonight. February is "cabin fever" time.

McKenzie, I know exactly what you mean, it gets old! Snow just makes it that much worse.

I love those slippers they have now, they're battery operated and warm your feet.

Neat, huh?
