@jcboy,
I wish I lived down there next to you...at least from January through September. I like it cooler for the trifecta of holidays. Wink

@jcboy,
You'd never survive winters in Albuquerque. It's been in the low 20's here and a warming trend if the temps make it above 40 during the day.

You'll just have wait until summer before you come visit all of us here. (hint hint)

@Butrflynet,
We just might do that! Cool

I can't stand the cold! even when its in the 60's that's too cold for me. My friend Debbie in CA said they were having a very cold winter, it was down in the 30's in Orange County, that's pretty cold for them!

@Butrflynet,
16 tonight.

I'm strange to myself in that I have often liked cold weather, ice skating at minus seven for example, before the era of wind chill stats, at nine and ten years old, with a warming hut at hand.

I put out the trash today with just a sweater, walked to mail box, nice and brisk. But, in the house I don't want to shiver. This is an economic matter also.

At this point, I get cold in some restaurants. Well, I'll grant you, what to dial in an ABQ restaurant could start an argument. We have heat, five months, cold five months, and a few weeks of winds, or not so bad, I could garden, in between.

I figure some of all this has to do with metabolism. I'm thinner now but also less exercise healthy than I've been in the past.

Still, it's not only me. Katy doesn't like to loll out there in the cold too long, and she has a fur coat.

@ossobuco,
Boy it's cold this morning! Just stepped in from outside and now my ears are so cold I could snap them off the side of my head and put them in my pocket for safe keeping.

@jcboy,
I put a pair socks on for the first time since last January. Brrr.

Love the sunny days of consecutive sunshine, though we did have a few cloudy days quite recently. Warmest winters I've had in my life. of course, living in the frigid northeast we had 'real winter'. This is a pure joy.

Went out to get the newspaper this morning and it looks like someone took a big shaker of powdered sugar and sprinkled Albuquerque with it.
