Swimpy, you're definitely in the wrong place!

Here it is cloudy with just a little bit of snow. Not very cold...

A little warm up has begun. It was 10 F ( -12 C)this morning. Christmas forcast is 35 F (almost 2 C) for ahigh. I think it's supposed to be sunny. We already have about 9" of snow on the ground, so a White Christmas is guaranteed.

Sorry about your forecast, hamburger. We can always hope the weather man or woman is wrong.

Ok, so we don't have snow here, but it's cold (for us) about 53F under cloudy skies.

I have the electric blanket on the bed just to warm it up, then it's off.

Hope you all keep warm and keep cozy!

An electric blanket in Cocoa Beach! Misti, I don't believe that!

BTW, I use cats instead of electric blankets ;-)

Merry Christmas from grey and rainy Balingen! Tonight we will go to my sister's house in my old hometown Winterlingen and we will have snow there!

Yes, it does go down to about 40F here at times, but only last a few days. Today it was 70's, tonight around 50F. I hear there's a cold front moving in which means 40's at night.

Hey, it's better than shoveling snow if you ask me ... I hate the stuff even tho' it looks pretty.

We had had a wonderfull blue sky this early morning, then fog came up .... and now it's snowing (looks like thick pieces of cotton wool).

(And - "as usual" - traffic accendens on the autobahns en masse by the 'usual suspects driving without winter tyres [here: those, who make their traditional in-laws visits on the 2nd Christmas holiday].

Here mother and father in law looked at the paper this morning and were gone, us till chewing breakfast. Snow is forcast. I tried to say please stay for lunch, but looked somewhat silly running down the road...

Two hours later they phoned, no snow in Norwich. Yet.

That really fast walking. especially considering the age! (Why does it take on a ride by car the same time, when you drive?)

It's just turned frosty in a near neighbourhood.

Does any weatherman know why?

Relying on my memory in order to conjure up our weather for you, walking home from the pub last night, and it is going to be worse tonight,I was thinking of Thersites (I think) in one of Shakespeare's plays and him saying that the enemy soldiers were so cold that they durst not shake the snow off their great-coats in case they shook themselves to pieces.

It bloody fleeing!!.

eastern lake ontario :
grey, damp, temp just around freezing.
took the dogs for a 20 minute walk along the lake ; they happily stuck their heads into every snowbank and peed at every other one - it's kind of funny , bailey does his manly duty and lifts his leg, cleo follows right behind and imitates his leg-lifting as good as she can - really quite funny to see - but both take their duties seriously . hbg
