By the way, it was a gorgeous day, in the low 80's, just perfect!

An Alberta clipper just went through.
Temps will go down about 15 - 20 degrees Celsius from this afternoon til tomorrow morning.
Big bangs of thunder as the cold air hit the warmer air.
Quite marvellous, really.

Today it has been raining, all day and much cooler.
I saw something on the news last night about Las Vegas desert area, loaded with beautiful flowers after all the rain they've had.
I am going out there on the 21st or thereabouts to take care of my sister who has lung cancer and will be in the hospital for 5 days. One of the first things I plan to do on arrival is take her for a ride in the desert to see the flowers.

Okay, Walter, we had 87 degree (summer-like) weather in Silicon Valley today. Are you still freezing? LOL

Gorgeous in Florida today, but very windy. We're expecting a great weekend though, and wishing all the same for you.

It is very windy here, too. But we also have some snow and rain mixed. The forecast for the weekend is more of the same...

Bizarre weather, with quick unpredictable changes, seems to be the norm this year, everywhere.

Agree, and this year the snow is much more frequent here.
Generally we only had 2-3 snows for 1 year. But this half a year alone I have already experienced 4. I am not sure whether it is good or not, since I was always wishing for a wonderful snow in the past.
But I was a bit haunted by The Day After Tomorrow.

Beautiful here today with lots of sunshine, slightly windy, around low 70's.
JN, love the photo of the snow on the trees!

All day sunny.
I cycled along the Yangtze River in the afternoon.
