Overcast today, but 80F, quite pleasant. Rain last evening and 70% chance over the weekend.

Grey and cold outside now. We still have a lot of snow.

When I flew to Brussels on Tuesday, more than 40 flights out of Stuttgart were cancelled.

been snowing for about 10 hours now
it's lovely and fluffy and white
gorgeous if you're not driving, or stuck in it

i love it like this

almost a full moon

lots of lightweight fresh snow - the reflection of the moon looks blue in the clean snow

i can't imagine life without it

Last night has been the coldest February night since a long time: -17.3° Celsius = 1.4° Fahrenheit

Today, we had a rather sunny winterday (photo from tomorrow's paper, taken in a forest in my native town, I liked as child most)

Walter, You're gonna have to turn up that heater before our visit to Lippstadt in May. I mean the whole area - not just inside. Wink I thought Antarctica was cold unitl I saw the weather report of your area.

Wasn't so cold here last night - only about -5° C/20°F.

In the Bergdesgarden area (German Alps), however, they had the record low of -47.2° Fahrenheit (-44°Celsius) last night!!!

hehehehe

I was up at 5:30 because the dogs wanted to go out. I let them in the backyard while I ran out front to shovel. Thought it would be good enough til this afternoon. When I went to leave for work, there was almost no evidence that I'd shovelled, so I did it again for all the other folks tramping along to work.

We've ''severe weather warnings'' ('red') since two hours: two autobahns, a couple of dual-carriage -ways and fedral routes are closed, in three bigger cities (Münster, Bielefeld and Gütersloh) the traffic broke down ... and here, we got just some snowflakes

(That severe weather is only 10 km's away, according to weather radar maps.)
