No, i saw no need to make an issue, nor did i invent the term crypto-racist. This has gone back and forth for over a page before i made any comment. But hyperbole is your style, isn't it?

You could stand a little humility, as well. Going about thinking you're faultless, though you may not believe it, isn't appealing.

I can assure that nothing would give me greater pleasure than to consider that i were unappealing to you. That statement simply demonstrates that you know as little of me as you asserted that i know of you. As for taking lessons from you in humility, that would be rather like going to the Pope to be instructed in the Kama Sutra.

Deutschlandfunk just reported that our government offered to send to the disaster region an airbus rebuilt into a "flying hospital" with 100-200 beds. (Didn't catch the exact number.) Your federal government declined because it had no use for it. (But it did accept some ready-to-eat meal packages, water processing equipment, and some other offerings.)

Let's interpret it as progress that the region doesn't need extra hospital beds anymore.

According to earlier news (like by the broadcasters WDR, NDR and Deutsche Welle), yesterday William Timken, the new US ambassador to Germany, handed German officcials a "wish list" of emergency aid such as logistics experts, water purification plants and medical help for victims.

Germany's flying hospital, Medevac, which was used in the tsunami areas, is expected to arrive in the US today, according to these news.

From me to you (plural), thanks. For governments, like people, there is no such thing as extra resources.
