This "Liberal Rag" is apparently more than you can stomach. Some Pepto Bismol is in order. Better still,
stop reading something which causes you malaise.
A very simple lesson to learn... I don't get ulcers, I tend to give them, at times.
I join those who voted "1" only because there was no "0" and share their rationale: from environmental degradation, to the deficit, to a preemptive invasion, to the erosion of civil liberties, to the squint, spelling, and misuse of language, I think we have the most repulsive and indefensible "president" in the history of the country.
we have gone from Nixon (could it be worse?) then we had Reagan (yes it could) to Bush 41 (read my lips) to Bush 43 (i'm a uniter not a divider) Perhaps there still is hope but its a dark tunnel we're in.
but it's bound to get darker before we start to see any day light. We can hope it beings to sunshine again in 2004. c.i.
c.i.<
I am sorry to have to agree with you on your point about the dark days ahead. Think of the lives on both sides of this conflict that have already gone through a vicious upheaval they probably never expected.
Your occupation is student. This is because you are still learning. And also because Bush will take you to school.

Welcome to A2k, a forum where we all can learn from each other.
And, no, Dubya will not be taking me to school, but he will continue to empty my wallet because of his economic policies.
Well, since he met my requirements put forth earlier in this thread, I give him a 9.

Might I suggest you get a job and stop living off of the government needlessly?
Those are the only people who need fear their wallets being emptied.

maxsdadeo:
I object!
That was an extremely offensive comment to direct at another member of this forum.
I think an apology is appropriate.
I would be happy to apologize to billhank, as soon as he shows me HOW the economic policies of Bush will "empty his wallet".
I am reasonably confident that an apology will be unnecessary.
By the way, where were you when conservatives are getting lambasted by your friends on the left, or do you only object selectively?
Hmmmmmmmm?
Max
There is no excuse for being "personal" & extremely rude here.
Either to WH, or me.
Just some ordinary run of the mill civility is not too much to ask. And a little respect for others!
Let's get something straight, ok olga?
I didn't get "personal" I commented upon a "personal" statement made by billhenry.
If posters wish to not have their "personal" situation commented on, then they shouldn't bring it up in the context of the thread, ok?
Me thinks you're making a mountain out of something less than a mole hill.
But of course, that is your perogative, isn't it?
Well, i gave him a "1," which it now appears puts me in with the majority. This is not necessarily always a recommendation, but it is comforting in this case.
However, i found your poll to be slanted in his favor--i gave him a "1" because there was no lower ranking available for me to choose.
I must apologize in advance for this post, but the title begged this:
Ranking Bush:

Alas, A2K polls only allow ten options.
I have changed my opinion of Bush and would now give him a 5. Although his domestic policies are disastrous I believe he is dealing with terrorism, the mid east and world affairs far better than expected. And without a doubt better than Gore or any other democratic administration would.
