10 years ago my wife had a affair. I caught the affair with in the first 3 months. I confronted her and she would not tell the truth until I brought evidence. Then when I did she it was only admitted to flirting and racy txt nothing physical. She said she would stop and I thought she did.
I learn 10 years later that it went on for at least 3 years and it was physical. she admits to few kissing sessions when working late at the office. She would work late once a week until 11 pm. I know the affair is over because the guy moved across country and became fat and old.
She has a history of not telling the truth when it comes to the affair can I trust her now? We are a happy couple with a good sex life. But I am tempted to try a affair to see how it feels. She had one lied and got away with it. I feel even if j get caught don't I have a free pass?

Are you sure about that? Happy couples usually don't go sneaking around and having affairs. And they certainly do not intentionally cause emotional distress to their partner.

To me, it seems you're still quite angry about her affair and still want to inflict damage to your marriage. Having an affair may seem like the perfect revenge but in reality, it's far from the truth.

Why do you want to blow up your life in this way?

Two wrongs never make a "right", so no free pass....sorry.

No, you cannot trust your wife. There is a line, it is imaginary and most married people can see it. There are a few, though, that are incapable of seeing the line and therefore will never have a problem crossing it. Your wife obviously suffers from a truth disorder. There's help for that, it's counseling. Wouldn't hurt for both of you to go talk to a professional.

Free pass? After you assassinate your country's leader, you can then go phase 2 of operation free pass. Else, you are never given a free pass. That includes when you earn it by victimization. You will pay for your actions. I know a place where they pursue justice...you might say they are stupid.

How do you know your spouse isn't a secret agent for God or something? Wouldn't that attitude, itself, violate God's mission?
