Do you see the pointless discussion yet?

Mind you, I can't talk. I gave it a try for well over a year or two with others advising me it was pointless too. I didn't listen, thinking that anyone can eventually be reasoned with (and probably I give each individual the same chance as each individual should get). But the conversations ran into blank walls ad nauseum, with no change ever. An admission here or there, but no change.

I am well aware Oralloy cannot be reasoned with. But telling lies cannot be how a discussion is left unchallenged.

Maybe if Oralloy were a veteran and stood shoulder to shoulder with others who served, he'd understand how wrong he is.

Alas he is not a veteran, just a loud mouth who has not shown one iota of compassion, dedication, loyalty or honor that it takes to be part of the we few, we happy few, Band of Brothers.

I have a strong tendancy to think along your first line as well. But on the other hand - most know what he is like, and this forum doesn't affect the outside world much if at all.

But as I said, I can't talk, having a long history of talking to people who suffer the same problems. Part of the reason being I know our brains work largely through habit, and also that we can change a lot of our brains habits. Ie. I am hopeful in each of us growing, and don't think anyone is incapable of growing - unless they choose not to. Oralloy I've come to the conclusion after years of talking to him, chooses not to. Combine my first paragraph with this - and what then is the point?

I mean the incessant arguing with oralloy. Nobody believes anything he posts. Logging in here specifically to argue with him just encourages him to post more. hijacks a thread away from any useful purpose.

If everyone put him on Ignore, the problem would go away. Why don't we all do that? There's no 'reasoning' with him and a few others... it's just repetitive irrational, contrived BS . It's a much pleasanter place when you don't have to read their bollocky kerap.
