Hell, no. My problem is I have friends both in the Podes and the Antipodes. Thus, one has to congratulate one party and express regrets to the other.

Well - seeing as we've still got a bloody queen, <even if she doesn't live here!> I expect she will throw a decent commiseratory piss-up for her subjects - and not those Poms! She's supposed to be Queen of Australia!

Roll on the Republic!

Brilliant match and series, though!

Aaaarrrrggghhhh!!!!!!!!!!

at least I can go to bed at something resembling a reasonable hour, now!

thanks gf

And for all I've said in jest...as you know, I must say we couldn't have beaten a nice bunch of blokes (and women, dont forget that)

good site as well,

particularly liked the first comment

"From: Noon
Comment: England don't like to lose to the descendants of the lower class, bread-stealing criminals they disposed of on a big island that turned out to be paradise more than 200 years ago. Winning was an exercise in saving face... .surprisingly they played extremely well all series too."

oh dear

Might very well go into Trafalgar Square and take my camera.

Steve, I think that it is an anagram for Fred Poos, the Australian manufacturer of laxatives.

He has obviously helped them, with his patent medication, to relax their sphincters over the past few weeks.

I, on the other hand, didnt know that his medication existed, and have been using Syrup of Figs.

'scuse me, I must dash........................

Bugger, too late!

Oh him of course. Originally of Chinese extraction ended up a leg spin bowler. Hence Aussie phrase "bowel a chinaman" has more relevance to your predicament than on the cricket field.
