NEWS FLASH!

Shane Warne sprains index finger in Hotel accident.........

According to two blond, buxom, nineteen year old female witnesses, Mr Warne sprained finger of bowling hand, shortly after returning to his hotel from the Peppermint Rhino Club in London at around 3am.

It is unclear how the accident happened, but sources suggest that he was trying to bowl a maiden over at the time...........

Oh I think he would be told to keep his hands to himself until after the fifth test. He's a great bowler but a terrible boofhead. One day he'll grow up.

so who are you rooting for gf?

agree about warney btw. never trust a spin bowler with diamond stud earrings in both ears.

Simon Jones is out. Could be highly significant.

Much discussion on the airwaves here as to whether we want the game or the rain. I think rain will stop play, wont affect result significantly and it will be drawn. So England win ashes.

What you think?

Truly I'm torn. I'd like to see England win because Australia has been on top for so many years that it's time for them to be taken down a peg or two. But the sight and sound of the Barmy Army celebrating a win.....well......it might be a bit too much.

Wait a minute, there's a knock on the front door. Back in a minute.

Back again. Um - come on Australia, win the Ashes lads!

(I just had a visit from the local SportThoughtPolice.....I need to be very sure about my sporting patriotism apparently).

Come on you Gunners!!! Very Happy

I'm just listening to my favourite ABC evening current affairs programme, I shall find the cricket broadcast shortly. Winning the toss must be an advantage.

This afternoon on my local ABC radio station the drive bloke did a phone conversation with one of the Aussie Fanatics going by the name of Disco and a Barmy Army lad by the name of Leafy. They both agree come what may they would be having a few beers together after the game. Totally civilised.

Okay, sledge on chaps! None of that civilised discourse for us!! Very Happy

Sod it - I just got bitten by a mossie - I hope that isn't symbolic. I squished the mossie though Twisted Evil
