I hope the bite injury isnt too serious, gf.

There's nothing more irritating than an Ozzie Mozzie. In a delicate area, was it?

61-0...Shane Warne warming up....I think he has a bent finger as well.

Healing nicely thank you Lord E - no, not a delicate area thankfully - just my arm.

It will be interesting to see if (a) Warne has any impact and (b) how long Jim Maxwell can handle the heat in the commentary box. Very Happy

I dont think that Warney will get it to spin much at the mo....although he managed it once during the over.

Jim Maxwell is complaining about the British Summer being TOO HOT? Or is it the exhaust fumes from the nearby Kebab van?

Judging by the state of Shane's face, he has been eating an ice cream cone again.

....and a small slug has hidden away on his chin.

I hope it puts him off his bowling a bit, as he looks in the mood to cause some problems for us.

Bell out for a duck! 104-3. Warne has got all three wickets.

I will now wiggle my gooley finger at the screen, every time he bowls, in the hope of putting him off.

It usually works......

They'll be calling Warne for PM when he gets back if he causes a win. I shall then pack up and head for New Zealand.

Back from Tea....248-4, Flintoff bangs off a four on the first ball...nearly caught!

Good game.

"Can't you knock a hole in the wall, Steve? Save you running to and fro, like our fine batsmen."

Floor actually. Then I thought about putting the spare tv in this room. But as I was nearly through...it posed a bit of a dilemma.

So I've put a rug over it and turned the radio on.

now there's a funny thing

Mrs Steve has never been known to be interested in cricket, now all of a sudden she's VERY interested in the partial hole in the floor...

Bugger Flintoff out caught at slip

"It is always a proud moment to pull on the Northern Ireland jersey".

Could perhaps be that this is posted on the wrong thread: ash on my head.

Warney won't get much out of this pitch - only 6 wickets. Still well in the running for "World's Most Unattractive and/or Stupid Man", though!

Billy Bowden apparently has quite severe arthritis, which stopped him playing and explains his finger curve (or part thereof!!)

I'm enjoying Test Match Special - much better commentary than those idiots on the box. Good to hear some Oz voices.

I have this terrible habit of dozing off at lunch (about 11pm) and waking up about tea - only to find there was nothing happening last night (or this morning, really!) bed at 2.30am!

Better get this game over before Monday!

C'n I have Ashley Giles for home?

The radio commentators are very, very good. I heard one mention John Arlott. Not taking anything away from the curent commentators but I think it would have been great to listen toJohn Arlott and Alan McGillivray calling this series and in particular this game.

Interesting the 'ranking' in an Australian newspaper

- and The Morror seems to have another opinion as you, Steve, too:
