Our black brothers and sisters have been bullying Asian Americans for years. One of them got killed by a Korean American after she burst into the Korean American's shop to whip something with a gun. Do you think black people like us should glorify this black sister for being a "courageous" person and denounce the Korean American for being a killer?

This Korean American, who's a man, could have been a friendly person, right? She wouldn't have been killed if he had allowed her to purloin something from his shop. Huh?

Another video clip, released by someone, shows another black brother barging into a warehouse with a gun in his hand, whereupon he opens fire, hitting another Asian girl in the chest. As a result, the girl bleeds out .

By your reckoning, this black brother's not guilty. You have to blame Trump or Asian Americans. Your reasoning: Asian Americans shouldn't have settled down in Black America. They should go back to Africa. Huh?

Hark, Asian Americans. Black power is rising. Thou shalt not put up a fight in Black America.

Hark, white people. Black power is rising. Thou shalt not launch into a philippic against BLM.

Hark, aliens. Black power is invincible. Thou shalt not visit our black earth.

Actually the Supreme Court is fixing to roll back Roe vs Wade next year.

It's not an issue that I pay a lot of attention to though. It's not really my thing.

I'm truly fed up with their antics. They say you can't snipe at a black man for bullying non-black people. Yet they just become taciturn people when asked to make comments on hate crimes against Asian Americans if our black brothers and sisters get involved. The plot thickens, some black journalists even try to justify blackness in America, as opposed to whiteness. And one of them even wrote an article suggesting that it's time to belittle White America and big Black America up.

Some people would call me a racist after hearing this. To my knowledge, most people in Europe and Asia don't like such progressives. That's why you find more conservative parties in Europe, say the AfD and the Sweden Democrats. They just go up against left-wing parties like the Greens. Marine Le Pen's party is also going strong in France.

representatives are elected every two years, so yes. all the squad were re-elected. that is because democrats are sane, as opposed to a party that would elect a marjoriy taylor greene and then listen to her as she raves. or krun a donald trump and then believe him as he lies about rigged elections. and srriously thinks he's coming back to power in august.

But that was not the only news of the day. We also learned that the Texas attorney general, Ken Paxton, told Trump advisor Steven Bannon on a public show that had he not been able to block a great deal of mail-in voting in 2020, Biden would have won Texas.

We also learned that Oregon Representative Mike Nearman, who was already in trouble for opening the doors of the Oregon Capitol to anti–coronavirus restriction rioters on December 21, held a meeting beforehand, on December 16, to plot the event. An attendee filmed the talk, which set up “Operation Hall Pass.” That operation ultimately opened the Oregon capitol building to far-right rioters, who endangered the entire legislature. The video, which shows Nearman winking and nodding at setting up the invasion, has raised questions about whether other Republicans worked with insurrectionists in other settings.

It is an odd day for these stories to come to light.

Seventy-seven years ago today, on June 5, 1944, General Dwight D. Eisenhower was preparing to send Allied troops, who fought for democracy, across the English Channel to France. There, he hoped, they would push the German troops, who fought for an authoritarian fascist state, back across Europe, securing a victory for democracy over authoritarianism.

More than 5,000 ships waited to transport more than 150,000 soldiers to France before daybreak the following morning. The fighting to take Normandy would not be easy. The beaches the men would assault were tangled in barbed wire, booby trapped, and defended by German soldiers in concrete bunkers.

On the afternoon of June 5, as the Allied soldiers, their faces darkened with soot and cocoa, milled around waiting to board the ships, Eisenhower went to see the men he was almost certainly sending to their deaths. He joked with the troops, as apparently upbeat as his orders to them had been when he told them Operation Overlord had launched. “The tide has turned!” his letter read. “The free men of the world are marching together to Victory!”

But after cheering his men on, he went back to his headquarters and wrote another letter. Designed to blame himself alone if Operation Overlord failed, it read:

“Our landings in the Cherbourg-Havre area have failed to gain a satisfactory foothold and I have withdrawn the troops. My decision to attack at this time and place was based upon the best information available. The troops, the air and the Navy did all that Bravery and devotion to duty could do. If any blame or fault attaches to the attempt it is mine alone.”

The letter was, of course, never delivered. Operation Overlord was a success, launching the final assault in which western democracy, defended by ordinary men and women, would destroy European fascism.

AOC? She is just an opportunist. I think Biden doesn't like her since this odious chit often makes dreadful remarks that rile Biden. She just managed to find a way to wangle a seat by deception. The NY post called her "one of the least effective members of Congress." And she is said to have done her utmost to thwart Andrew Yang's attempts to be the next mayor of New York. AOC still denies wrongdoing, say she's not stonewalling. Andrew Yang is also a Democrat

I even think more liberals would have been willing to vote for the Republican Party instead of the Democratic Party if the Covid-19 hadn't buffeted America's economy.
