I play within the environment that I'm given. My first choice is that lies about me be removed. Sometime they are, and sometimes they are not.
My second choice is to just set the record straight about myself
without attacking the other person. But sometimes the moderators start removing my posts where I set the record straight, while leaving up the posts that lie about me.
I get that it's repetitive when I set the record straight over and over again. But the lies about me are equally as repetitive. If the repetitive lies about me were removed to begin with, then there would be no need for me to repetitively set the record straight.
My last resort is to use aggression against the person who is attacking me. If nothing else works, that's what I am left with.
I actually put a lot of thought into my uses of aggression. I try hard to calibrate them to be as close as possible to the aggression that I am countering. I often write and rewrite a vicious personal attack so that it is not too harsh and not too mild, but instead strikes a perfect balance with what I am responding to. It's funny that people always think my vicious attacks are based on anger or something, when in reality the attacks are crafted entirely out of logical calculations.

Some time back I mused about adopting a new tactic of disregarding all the name-calling and other nonsense that progressives barf all over threads, and instead narrowly focusing like a laser only on the main point of the discussion.
I asked you (and a few others) what you thought of me trying out such a tactic. So far as I recall I never got any feedback from anyone who I asked.
Just recently I tried this tactic over on the Israel thread. I haven't made an assessment yet whether it is a success. It did seem to keep the thread on topic more than usual however.
