@mark noble,
You’re not Mr Goldman. His answers are the ones I’m interested in.

@izzythepush,
I sited a trailor at the festival site, once.
Have researched the henge, material origins, what its builders (Giants) likely used it for, much of the local, geology, topography, geomagnetic lines, etc.
Learned it was moved twice.

Not a favourite area (Glastonbury) of mine - Too far from the sea.

Huge burial site discovered there, recently.

Have a lovely day

No, it’s a village half way between Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury.

@izzythepush,
It appears both Southampton & Swansea are in for some spectacular thunderstorms, into & over this weekend..

There's a Southampton, Northampton, West Ham (pton) - Is there an Easthampton, Please?

And what is the 'ham (pton)' origin (epist)?

Cheers.

@mark noble,
Hamtun is an Anglo Saxon word for town which is why there’s also a Littlehampton.

That’s hardly an obscure fact.

@izzythepush,
It is - For those who don't know the answer.
I guessed Ham 'hamlet', and knew Ton 'town'

That's hardly an obscure fact either...

Cheers.

Why 'hamp'?

@mark noble,
What alcohol?

Just because I had a drink on Saturday doesn’t mean I’m drinking now. I have a thing called self control.

You’ve lost the argument.

Political correctness is heavily impacting pop entertainment to an extent. I recently asked on Yahoo! Answers what's with the recent wave or surge of political correctness regarding voice acting in cartoons:

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20200823092048AA0BZdj

The best answer given was:

"The recasting is related to the Black Lives Matter protests that occurred in June and July. Basically, producers and actors are looking at potentially racially charged situations found in the entertainment industry and figuring out how to deal with them.

And some people did have issues with Apu. There was a documentary The Problem With Apu, that led the producers of the Simpsons to stop using the character a few years ago."

@JGoldman10,
What is your exact deal with political correctness?

You even said this in the link:
"On one hand I think this is ridiculous. If a voice actor has a voice that fits a certain character it shouldn't matter what the actor's ethnicity is.

On the other hand, this is progress. For many years voice acting in cartoons has been somewhat of a minstrel show, or a whitewashing of sorts in general, especially in modern times. It's good that cartoon makers are breaking away from this. People of color should be given the chance to voice act if they want to and more opportunities should be open to them."

So do you want things to change or have things the way they are?
