@farmerman,
None of our allies trust Trump. They trust Putin more for the first time in our country's history during contemporary times since the cold war. Trump's mishandling of covid 19 caused over 142,000 deaths and counting; worst record in the world. His mishandling of the economy should now be evident with his foolish trade war and tariffs. Trump's claims of, "I'm really smart," "I went to the best schools," and "I'm a stable genius," are oxymorons at their worst from any country leader. Trump's 5th grade grammar reveals most of what people need to know about him. His ignorance about the US constitution, history and geography are now known to the world. Trump is only the second president to be impeached under the constitution for, 1. Abuse of power, and 2. Obstruction of congress. Trump believes we had airplanes during the Revolutionary War, and he's going to build his border wall in Colorado that Mexico is going to pay for. Trump already spent over $11 billion for the wall with no payments from Mexico, and most of it replaced old wall. Trump can't be the master of "the art of the deal" with his over 18,000 lies and false claims in two years. Political scientists already declared him, "worst president in history," and mental health professionals declared him, "mentally unstable and dangerous." That's confirmed by the new book out by his niece, Mary Trump, who has a PhD in Psychology. Bandy Lee's book also confirms Donald Trump's dangers to society, "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump." Over 80% of republicans supports this psycho.

@Region Philbis,
Region, Trump still hasn't mastered English grammar at over 70 years old. He still doesn't know the US constitution, history or geography. Linguists have determined that his grammar is below 6th grade level. His impeachment proves he's ignorant about the constitution. His claim that airports were in existence during the Revolutionary War proves his ignorance about US history. His declaration of building his border wall in Colorado, that Mexico is going to pay for, proves his ignorance about US geography. His supporters are likewise lacking. I wonder if they know "what" they're supporting?

@cicerone imposter,
Upon learning of trumps academic achievement my appreciation of programs at Penn has been greatly diminished. Imagine Stanford or CalTech with kids who even as undergrads, dont know much about geography or history.

I recently saw a flyer in my local paper saying that psychiatrists are offering a sale on electroshock therapy treatment for victims of TDS.

A2k progressives might want to look into whether there are similar sales in their own regions. You lunatics don't have to keep suffering.

@oralloy,
you realize thats a lie dont you? or are you just reading Pravda Krakowa//
No psychologists would offer anything of the kind for a condition that does not even exist and would therefore put a therapists license in grave jeopardy based upon ethical violations and falsification of therapies. You have absolutely no ideas about professional licensure do you?

Im sure that Michigans professional license requirements are similar to most other states (not sure about Miss or W Va)

@oralloy,
"Trump Derangement Syndrome," because he demanded the execution of five innocent minority kids in NYC, even after they were declared innocent by DNA. Trump also separated children from their parents at the southern border, and put them into animal cages. If that's not psychotic, I'm not sure what qualifies. He's been a racist, liar, scammer, and cheater most of his life. He has no empathy for human life. His 5th grade grammar doesn't pass the laugh test. His own aggrandizement shows mental issues. "I'm a stable genius." "I went to the best schools." "I'm really rich." Thousands of psychiatrists, "Donald Trump is mentally unstable and dangerous." Political scientists, "Donald Trump is the worst president in history." Bandy Lee, PhD, "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump." His own niece came out with a book on her uncle, https://www.npr.org/2020/07/23/894159895/trumps-niece-describes-a-toxic-family-dynamic-where-kindness-was-weakness

@oralloy,
Thats a blog spot, and isnt subject to license reviews. We have had fun geology newsletters which would probably parallel Psych Today DOT COM /BLOGSPOT.

Thats just crap governed by the free speech clauses of our 1st amendment. BS posing as professional opinions and recommendations subject to peer review is governed by the state license boards. For someone who makes such a big deal of his abilities you sure are half smart.
When you pose as a professional (Whatever) and governed by a license to practice, each time you offer opinion, advice, professional recommendations tc, You are, in effect, attesting that what you are saying in your professional capacity is factual to the best of your ability and training and that in no fashion are you advising based on non existent or false professional bases. (You dont go making up phony conditions ans then stand by them with a license to practice psychology) Fines for that kinda crap are pretty heavy and then you'd be relieved of your license for a few months to over several years

If I sold shares in a gold mine that Id salted and covered its value by false claim assay ,signing and sealing with my license, Id be sacked qnd tried under several unique statutes. Engineers and geologists pay hefty fines because our actions (if falsified) can jeopardize the lives of many folks at once
So please know of what you're speaking and try not to go trumpian on me by "doubling down" on your BS

@farmerman,
her;s something from the APA.

Quote:
Today, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) reiterates its continued and unwavering commitment to the ethical principle known as “The Goldwater Rule”. We at the APA call for an end to psychiatrists providing professional opinions in the media about public figures whom they have not examined, whether it be on cable news appearances, books, or in social media. Armchair psychiatry or the use of psychiatry as a political tool is the misuse of psychiatry and is unacceptable or unethical.

Note the word UNETHICAL appears in summary. To a licensed professional, thats not merely a recommendation, its the law of ethical practice and is actionable

Some of those thugs called for lynching Amy Cooper. Good for Mr. Trump for giving the freaks a dose of their own medicine.

Barack Obama was the one who did the cages.

when you have no idea what you are talking about you usually double down and try to insult your correspondent so, therefore, Im quite used to hearing your pomp assed philippics

@farmerman,
See if you can find one of those sales on electroshock therapy. You'll thank me for the advice once you start feeling better.

That is amazing, isn't it.

Someone using "honesty and dishonesty" that bizarre way!

How out-of-touch does one have to get to be able to do it?
