The reason they can hide the "death rate flattening assertion" is that death rates are taken on a 7 day running avg , while infections are pot data.

Sweden has tried a "novel way" at herd immunity. (If such a condition can exist). They basically did NOTHING so that their initial death toll was about 10 times higher than that of Norway next door and it peaked much earlier. So you can basically kill off the "undesirables ,( like the elderly), and then when the population has been 25% infected, brag about your declining death rate.

Everything has a cost. There is no free lunch.

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for today's Sweden and Norway. I think in many ways, they have seen the light.

But on this, Sweden screwed up big time.

Not quite as much as we are screwing up, but then again, they do not have Trump as a head-of-state.

When a picture is too large to fit on the a2k screen, instead of:

Code:[img] [/img]

Try this:

Code:[img width=900] [/img]

You can try other widths.

width=960 is the full width of the a2k screen.

width=900 will let the picture fit in a quote box if someone chooses to quote your post.

Sometimes an even smaller width will keep a picture from overwhelming the rest of a post.
