A shame such a brilliant general lowers himself to this. The division was here with Obama and Trump was clearly never given a chance. The general does not care if America lives or dies. He is on the wrong side of history.

Its going to take some resolution and actual patriotism by the "Quiet GOP". Do they have the cojones to say "ENOUGH"?

It usually takes a kick start by writers and journalists who are "of the party" before the ruling elites read and start recognizing what a monster has been created by such enabling.

First, that's not true because as long as capitalism persists in producing inequality, there will be Marxist/socialist agitators trying to stir up rioting and/or anything else that causes destruction of property, i.e. because they want to create more jobs and investment in rebuilding whatever gets destroyed.

Second, the legitimate peaceful protests had antifa and other Marxist/socialist/leftists coming in to turn them into violent/destructive riots. They do this to stimulate destruction and thus provoke government investment.

I think even right wingers agree the violence's proximate cause is unwarranted killing by cops of black suspects.

There's been nothing like this that hasn't had an element of cop violence since the seventies.

I don't want that baby tempted by the false promises of Marx and Engels either. Or the temptation to allow fascists to take over this country under some sort of cover of a misnamed sense of "law and order", our laws work when they are equally applied.

Philando Castile ignored repeated orders to keep his hands visible and reached for something.

Trayvon Marin was killed in self defense as he tried to murder the captain of the neighborhood watch.

I'm not really following the George Floyd case closely. But from what I know of it his death was indeed unwarranted. If I were on the jury I think I'd convict the neck guy of second degree murder. Although I'm not so sure that I'd convict any of the others.

But no. Many if not most of these deaths are justified self defense. Most of them are not in any way unwarranted.

George Zimmerman was captain of a block watch committee of one, who ignored police orders to back off and wait for the cops to get there and in cold blood murdered a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD YOUNG MAN.
