hardly a valid comparison. We all have nuts wanting the otheres to be done away with. Hell on A2K we have Oralloy the Magnificent who wants to do away with all Dems. (Hes apparently not well schooled in the intricacies of a document called the Constitution).

But this is the PRESIDENT who , by oath, is supposed to follow the Constitution and be the president of ALL this nations people despite our disagreements with his policy (or lack thereof). His pulpit is infinitely larger than is Oralloy's and when a leader begins to talk like that should I be practicing with my 50 cal to protect myelf an family from when your "Brown Shirts" are given orders to carry out his dreams??

Seriously Iv never heard one of our presidents pose death as a political option in handling the nation's citizens who arent lined up like ants behind him and arent in awe of this guy

He can and most assuredly will try to stoke up a race war.
This morning Trump tweeted ‘you start looting we start shooting’ – and with this he played straight into one of the white privileged instincts of the out of control looting ‘scary black folks’ coming to get them, and that only he can save them from such a terrible fate. When he says that the DoJ and the FBI are going to get to the bottom of the murder of George Floyd it is the exact opposite of what he wants. He will use those tools at his disposal to delay any kind of investigation or sense of justice being delivered. You can see that from the press conference yesterday which did not give any concrete actions and had an utter lack of urgency surrounding it, even as Minneapolis burns. If he can he will play this straight through to November. He cannot use Covid-19 as a re-election tool, he cannot use the economy as a re-election tool. BUT he can and most assuredly will try stoke up a race war. Vote for me to save you from the ‘scary black man’ bogey. He will do this irrespective of the deepening divisions that have been cratered by his administration because at heart he really is a white supremacist for whom black lives really do not matter, and he knows for part of America, this is also a fundamental truth.

He also said that he would send in the National Guard. What a loon. He must live in an echo chamber--the governors control the National Guard in such a situation, and they've already been called up. He knows how to stir **** up, but that's about all he knows.

Why wouldn't you just think he's telling people that there will be an investigation and not to take advantage of the protests as a chance to do any looting, i.e. because there are always those people who take advantage of public protests as an opportunity to get away with looting/sexual-assault/etc. You're saying that by mentioning 'looting,' he's evoking a certain narrative about 'scary black folks,' but you don't have to assume he's blaming looting on being black. If the people who try to get away with looting are white, it's still taking advantage of a protest situation to get away with crime. The irony is that no one is saying anything about social-distancing, regardless of what else is going on amidst protests.

How about calling for an investigation into how non-violent, non armed citizens are being killed by cops and why citizens are calling cops on other noncriminal, nonthreatening, nonarmed other citizens specifically to get them shot or arrested?

If this was happening, I would just assume it is a situation being created by organized crime to get people to vote Trump out of office, so all the more reason to vote for him.

Everything the left does to demonize the current regime and get the Democrats voted in is more reason not to give them what they want.

Why do you think I don't believe in social distancing? I say all the time that wearing a mask causes you to rebreathe your own pathogens, but social distancing is good, as is avoiding public places.

I just look at who benefits politically from something that demonizes the current regime. Obviously there are people who want bad things to happen within the current regime in order to blame Trump and stimulate a change in the White House. So if the people causing strife are doing to to get Trump voted out, the punishment is to vote for Trump, no?

The violence has nothing to do with Trump. It has to with black males being murdered by cops. MLK said that riot is a language used by people with no voice.

Any politician who cannot get this murdering season ended needs voting out.

If Trump can not figure this out, it will become one more reason he will be voted out.
