I remember a time when my mother would try to paint furniture and use similar decals. Then of course the wax fruit in a bowl tucked somewhere and the copper molds that were hung on the wall.

No hospital. Pain is fading, but I'm disoriente and pissed off as hell.

I have an appointment with my primary care doc on THursdau.

Phooey on everything, except may you guys, and I'm not so sure about that.

Disoriented from the fall, do you think? Or were you feeling weird and that contributed to falling.

What did you hurt? Sebastian tripped me and gave me a black eye once, because I fell flat on my face and my glasses hurt all around my eye.

Very embarrassing because in my line of work all the clients assumed any injury you showed was from domestic violence.

Yes I’m babbling because I’ve been so worried about you and I’m so sorry you are feeling so bad.

It reminds me of that time I returned home from a spell of time in a hospital. Still half out of it, I lost my balance, keeled over, hit the side of my head along the window sill, nearly hit the eye. Instead just a bleeding gash.

It was not all bad. I hung on there for a while and noticed blood dripping. Dripping onto the tool box I had on the floor there. And yes, I was sort of hanging there. A belt loop hooked itself onto a pull fixture on a drawer as I went down... ...fun times. (Not!)

Back to the hospital the next day due to being disoriented. Apparently, I had zeveloped an infection, probably prior to the initial medical discharge.


That was all part and parcel of after effects from my broken ankle, subsequent surgery and physical rehab stay.


...oh, forgot to mention the wound vac thing I was connected to and carrying around.




So, in closing, feel better soon Roberta and drop in to yell at us, as needed.

Too weak to be angry.
If there's an injury from the fall, it ain't obvious. I'll talk to the doc on Thursday.

So glad to see you posing! I called you and left a couple of messages and called the hospital to see if I could get news of you, but it kept ringing out.

Do you still feel disoriented?

Not disoriented. Not including my breathing problems, the issue boiled down to kidney problems. I'm following up on this.

Sheila didn't know where I was.

I was measuring the walls walls to have them painted.

I had already decided on the paint brand and colors. Paint I'd used before, good quality, easy to find.

I decided to read some of the reviews, as I saw it had an overall 4.25 stars. I always like to look at the bad reviews to see if there's going to be any problems.

The following 1 star review is typical.

Basically - I had my house painted professionally 13 years ago with this paint and it was fine. I decided to do it myself this time. It turned out for ****. Very bad paint.

I'm leaning toward user error.

I'm going with Behr paint. Sold at Home Depot.

The particular type is one coat coverage Marquee One Coat.

I'm also replacing the blinds. The ones that are there are in fine shape, but just basic white mini blinds. Those ones with the wand to tilt them, and (yikes) a cord to open and close them. I absolutely don't want a cord for the animals to get caught up in.
Years ago, I walked into a room and my cat Lulu had somehow gotten her head stuck through the cord and she looked panicked. What would have happened if I hadn't been home?

Anyway paint colors.

2 smaller accent walls will be Shutter Gray. The rest of the walls and the kitchen will be either Radiance or Amber Brew.



For the windows, cordless cellular shades in mocha.



In the living room I have SEVEN windows about the size of those in the picture.

Input please, which gold color looks better with those blinds? I don't want them to blend together, but contrast some.

Will also do the master bedroom the same colors, but not going to change the blinds. They are always closed as I just go in there to sleep.

Or is this color shade better?
