I have an intolerance to any kind of motivational speech...I just can't stand it.
Any kind of salesman typical techniques just shuts down my brain and hears.

Had an emotional “moment” this am. I haven’t cried like this since my husband died May 2009.

I’m worried about my daughter in DC. I am far from her.

She had a bad flu in late 2019. Now I wonder if it wasn’t Covid 19. She is a hairdresser and had many government workers as clients.

My family did a facetime phone conference Fri nite. That made me feel better.

To be honest I don’t like most motivational speakers. I like her ... one of the few.

I went to a women’s leadership conference at The last minute i decided to go to her talk ... was one of the smaller ones and loved it much more than the keynote speakers.

The headline was That girl who was shot for trying to go to school. Surprisingly I was not impressed with her talk as I was looking for it.

The last time I made latkes was the last time I will ever make latkes. I love the food, can't do the grating. I had to rest three times. Such is life.

BTW, I take sour cream and apple sauce.

Tonight I'm having chicken stir fry. Last night I had chicken parm.

I know what you mean. The potato grating is tiring. (Then too, I find cheese grating exhausting... hmmm...maybe I'm merely lazy, since I was like this in Trigonometry...which I failed).

Only sour cream for my latkes...

Had some pasta with sauce an hour or two back.
