@roger,
The virus is respiratory. I think you are supposed to set it on fire and then inhale the fumes.

Coronavirus Surge in Tulsa ‘More Than Likely’ Linked to Trump Rally

Tulsa County reported 206 new confirmed cases on Tuesday and 261 — a record high — on Monday,
and Dr. Bruce Dart, the director of the Tulsa Health Department, said at a news conference that it was
reasonable to link the spike to the rally and related events.

“The past two days we’ve had almost 500 cases, and we know we had several large events a little over
two weeks ago, which is about right,” Dr. Dart said. “So I guess we just connect the dots.”

Majorca and the other Balearic Islands want to tighten the mask duty, the Spanish autonomous region of Catalonia had already announced two days ago to reintroduce a mask duty also in the open air, the Serbian government renounces a new corona lockdown after recent protests, Israel's army chief of staff and more than 9000 soldiers are in corona quarantine ...

Story of an American Covid success story - Rhode Island is open for business, schools will be opening on time, bars are open.

Quote:
Rhode Island is once again open for business. You can go to the movies, to restaurants, to the beach, even to indoor concerts, although crowd sizes are capped at 125 spectators, and masks remain mandatory throughout the state. Day care centers, museums and bars are open, too; you can’t actually belly up to the bar, but you can get served at your seat.

@edgarblythe,
Australia's Healthmap visualises local health and demographic data in Australia. During the current pandemic Healthmap has also been mapping Covid-19 data. Importantly for international users the map includes global data on the rates of Covid-19. This global map includes data from the ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) and Johns Hopkins University.

Healthmap

Interesting that Sweden (53.24 reported deaths per 100,000) has a significantly higher number of deaths than the U.S. (39.96 reported deaths per 100,000). In fact currently the U.S. has a cumulative death rate lower than most European countries. Although the contrasting trends in the numbers of cases in the U.S. and Europe means that this may soon change.

Missouri Summer Camp Closes After 82 Kids and Staff Infected

At least 82 campers, counselors and staff at a summer camp in southwestern Missouri have been
infected with COVID-19, according to state health officials.

Kanakuk Kamps, a network of Christian sports camps in the state, reopened their camps to thousands
of kids beginning in May. Kanakuk chose to reopen after Missouri leaders said that there was a risk in
letting camps reopen, but that they were confident that the camps had made plans to stop any
potential COVID-19 outbreaks from happening

History proves it: no HIV-tests = no AIDS.

And all those then unreported cases - send them back over the powerful Trump wall.

Mother of Florida Teen Who Died from Covid-19 Didn't Believe Kids Needed Masks, Took Cues from QAnon
Quote:
Davis had survived childhood cancer and had risk factors for covid-19, including an autoimmune disorder and obesity. But despite her heightened risk, her parents allowed her on June 10 to attend a party at their church, the First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, Florida. Dubbed the “Release Party,” the event was pitched by the church as a night of “games, awesome giveaways, free food, a DJ and music, and the start of our new sermon series,” according to screenshots of the event’s Facebook page. The church, according to the Miami Herald, had remained closed for months, despite the fact that the state had not ordered churches to shut their doors, and only re-opened after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s order that allowed restaurants, bars, gyms, and other indoor facilities to re-open. As the Miami Herald noted, many of the state’s residents took their cues from their governor. The state didn’t require people to wear masks, and so the young people at the church event didn’t wear masks, according to the Herald. (Just this week, the Fort Myers city council voted down a mask mandate.)

Could it be due to the number of Americans who don’t actually know that there is a world outside the borders of the US.

Immunity to Covid-19 could be lost in months, UK study suggests
Quote:
People who have recovered from Covid-19 may lose their immunity to the disease within months, according to research suggesting the virus could reinfect people year after year, like common colds.

In the first longitudinal study of its kind, scientists analysed the immune response of more than 90 patients and healthcare workers at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS foundation trust and found levels of antibodies that can destroy the virus peaked about three weeks after the onset of symptoms then swiftly declined.

Perhaps there isn't such a thing like "blanket immunity" - other studies and opinions suggest such, too.
