I can't believe you people outside the U.S. know us so well! I'm sure if I had to place the provinces on a map of Canada, I wouldn't do half that well.
I'm gonna go try it again. (Shooting for 100%)

They made me try to put Iowa on the middle of map with no reference points at all. I was off by 45 miles.
That's very good!
I had to put Oklahoma in with no reference point and was off by 145 miles. But Rhode Island... yikes. I thought it was where Delaware is.
There are jigsaw puzzles online that use a similar format-- all of them are shaped like the 48 continental states. Good practice.

Okay. 47 out of 50 perfect. 345 seconds and
six miles off.
Just for fun:
What state is the only state you can go due South from into six different states? (From six different points obviously)

96% again, but only off 2 miles! (405 seconds)
Man, you can be off just slightly, and they'll still count it wrong!
Hmm. I'm thinking, Joe. Do you mean which state has six other states that border it to the south? Contiguous?

Considering my first try was a learning curve without knowing about the time factor, I think my score was pretty decent.

Yes, CI... good. Have you tried again? Because the order of the states is changed, the game continues to challenge, too.
Joe -- I think you are thinking of Missouri.

Considering that most people know where Hawaii, Alaska, California, Florida, New York, and Texas are located, that leaves only 44 states.

I wonder if there is one of these for the UK... or Europe. It would be fun to try and (after a few tries) we'd probably know a lot more about geography.
