That's ok, I'm only one persona/person and I waste the space of two.

We should have five more humourous and benign posters just like you. Just make a couple of your personas marginally conservative, please.

Just in the realm of conservatism...

Just in a nearby galaxy....

Holy Christos, give it up to the Virgin, I can't move far enough right to be marginally liberal let alone conservative.

Then, we will have to restrict you to the one.

I'm sorry. Those are the rules.

Anarchists have no rules, we are the Elites! Aristotle was marginally conservative and look where it got him.

Holy Christos, give it up to the Virgin,

My mother, bless her soul, had fits. As a wealthy family, we were more fortunate than most and had a tower over in the east wing to lock her up in those bad times. We waited as long as we thought we could, and when demand went down as we figured likely, we zipped her in for a really moderately priced lobotomy.

She joined the rest of us again and things were pretty much back to normal. That was a good time. Also, it freed up the east tower and we did well by running a grow-op up there for several years.

But the reason I mentioned the above is that post-lobomy mother, for reasons I cannot apprehend, used that same expression up top here from dys every time she had a bowel movement. What a world, hey?

I hope it isn't catching. First, the brilliant Setanta shows that he is five yards wide and one inch deep by using the word "gaul" when "gall" was called for---a shock.

Then, we encounter the most erudite Blatham using the term "post-lobomy" I am unaware of the meaning of "lobomy". Is it a neologism or is Blatham also engaging in orthographic nonsense?

"post-lobomy" is a common tern used to describe gatos before enlightenment reserving the term "full blown asshole" to describe gatos post enlightenment. I'm surprised that you are not familiar with the idiom.

Notice how pointedly Lash and Chic are avoiding the issue. When cons, [how apropos] don't like the facts they use tangents, throw the facts out or studiously avoid them.

Really? Would you be so kind, dyslexia, to tell me where the term can be found in even the Oxford English Dictionary?

However, I am happy that you are allowing idioms that are not found in a dictionary to be used on these threads. I did not realize that language skills were so lax here.

I beg your pardon, JTT. You are correct. We may be avoiding the issue. I note that you do not include Blathams post under your definition of "tangents". Why not? It has NOTHING to do with the "issue">

Are you an English teacher? You know, of course, what Voltaire said to the priest that came to attend his last rites. When the priest said--"My son, I come from God"--Voltaire replied, "May I see your credentials"?

May I see your credentials, dyslexia?

I find it curious that someone who claims to be an expert in the English language sports such a pejorative name as Dyslexia.

Take a breath, Chic, calm down, that's it, breathe, in ... out ... in ... out.

Okay now? Blatham can engage in all the tangents he wants. He's dismantled the specious arguments and reasoning of a number of cons in this thread. His work is done, as is mine.

The people, through Congress, have spoken.
