Who said anything about "doing away with PBS" ? I like it and listen to NPR when ever I'm driving, especially the "Connection" hosted by Dick Gordon. All we want is more factual reporting and less 'leftist brain washing influence" in content which is provided by carefully selected "experts from the left" with no equal time from the right.
Here's Rayban, playing fast and loose with the facts yet again. [I've gotta get that quote of Kuvasz's; it could be the reply to anything Rayban posts]
In actual fact, Rayban the tangent man, [have you looked it up yet to find out the meaning?] the only "carefully selected experts" at PBS have been those that were chosen to create two pointedly conservative shows.
Rayban [I don't like those facts, so out they go] the tangent man has also studiously ignored the polling done that shows the large majority of PBS viewers [78%] do NOT believe that PBS has a liberal bias.
Rayban [I don't like those facts, so out they go] the tangent man has also studiously ignored the fact that K Tomlinson has stated that he was compelled to action to right this non-existent liberal bias by a right winger who threatened to pull his funding unless right wing views were trumpeted at PBS.
Throughout this entire thread, Rayban [I don't like those facts, so out they go] the tangent man has obfuscated or gone tangential, or accused others [with zero justification] of avoiding the issue(s).
This was so abundantly apparent that Freeduck remarked something to the effect that he/she had never seen anyone contort themselves so in order to avoid an argument.
I'm not completely sure which is the bigger joke Rayban, "carefully selected" or you.
