Q - Jacob Wirth's on friday night. Still narrowing down the start time - either 6 or 7.
sokay..will keep it in mind..changes lemme know.
thanks!
let's do 7. i expect many of us won't be able to make it at 6. well, some of us. me. lk too, i suspect.
we should take a t, ay, lk? parking will be out of control downtown. i'll be at hahvahd, so we can just go from there when you get home.
snuggling into position for the chair on the end, ordering a small beer...
Well, clearly I won't be able to talk or hear but I'll be a blooming nebbish aiming questions at various parties. We blooming nebbishes request support and verification via diary form, up and out.....
Seven it is (hearing no objection)...
Should a table be reserved?
Table reservations, dasha? Do we need them?
Actually, I will be here earlier than usual on friday as work will be flying to ireland friday evening.
heh, i wish i could pile my work into an airplane and send it to ireland. six seems a bit early for dinner to me. is everybody ok with seven? if six is a choice of many, i'll be fine with it.
Lucky, eh?
So, you and I will T it into the big city together?
yes, let's. i should just leave my car at home then and walk to work, ay? grrrr, i hate this weather. but since it's about a 10 minute walk, i have no excuse. will do.
If I could still be walking to work, I would be.
well, you could. it would only take 2 hours or so... but, strictly technically you could.
i know i could, but walking is soooo sloooow. i like it when i'm at it, but i'd bike over walk any time.
Aaaand, do you bike to work, then?
oh yeah, all the time. well, when it's not raining, so not this week. but it's my primary mode of transportation now.
Good! And I usually walk for an hour with Cole, but not so for quite some time.
Who'll stop the rain?
Leaving Houston tomorrow morning at 5 am; arriving in Beantown by 1pm and in Braintree on the T by 2 (or 3) and in Rockland via cab by 3 (or 4).
Back into the city Friday afternoon. Looking forward to meetin' all y'all!
Well, I did what I could about the weather. Only partial success, I'm fraid. They're now promising a partly sunny Friday and Sunday. But Saturday and Monday still look showery. I'll talk to the weather people again, but can make no promises. Temps should be up into the low 60s, though.
(BTW, what's the timing at Jake Wirth's on Friday again? I may have to arrive late. Either that or leave real early. As I assume y'all will be dawdling over your Sachertorte desserts, I'd prefer the former rather than the latter.)
Mmmm, since today is tomorrow already and it's around 8 a.m. here, lessee, I'm guessing around 9 in Houston, and 11 in Boston (this taxes her brain), then the PDiddies should be at least hovering around the east coast by now. Yayyy, and have fun, y'all.
I'll talk to the rain gods and see if I can sway them. No matter what I'll be there.
PDiddie and Merry - wasn't it 7pm, then?
