I will, Phoenix!
He even gained some weight and looks very healthy these days. And he hardly ever coughs... When he still smoked, I could hear him walking down the street coughing... That really worried me. But not anymore!
That is great news! I slipped off the wagon myself after well over a year of total success.

Well, every "slipped off the wagon" just shows and proves that we are addicted
<Still glad that I'm 23 [or 24 ? years sober at this date]>
I only slowed down my cigrettes consumption over the last few months - Chicago will definitely be the deadline.
I'm sure, you'll succeed, Bill!
Thank you Walter. 23 years sober is incomprehensible to me.

You're no alcoholic, so enjoy your drinks!
January 16, 2006 it is, Bill. We will remember that...
It is so much nicer for me to live with a non-smoking BigDice.

Bill,
I'm gearing up to quit after New Years, maybe we can be quitting buds...
January 16th sounds like as good a date as any.
So, Bill, what happened? Did ya manage to quit? I'm still non-smoking! Whodathunk?

Eh, no. Maybe I'll try the one year anniversary to that.
And BigDice is still not smoking!
Didn't you guys hear the news? Scientists have discovered that smoking is actually good for you!
So...smoke 'em if you got 'em!
627 days!!! I am SO proud!
Way to go BigD! and good on ya urs.
It is sooooooo much nicer smoochin' a non-smoker. Set's almost at the one-year mark.
He's still working the nicotine gum over, but that's decreasing as well.
It definitely is a lot nicer, ehBeth!
And while you can still smoke almost everywhere in Germany, it does make our vacations a lot easier. He is a lot more relaxed on the plane, we do not have to plan our restaurant visits etc. around smoking areas... ;-) And the money...
it'll be 16 years for me in May and squinney still won't kiss me..... turns out after I quit smoking I was supposed to start brushing my teeth......who knew?
Sooo, it's past you're one year anniversary now, Bill... Did it happen this time? Did ya make it?
Well, I heard that you had some big changes in your life, so I guess it's OK, friend...
