3 weeks and counting! Still strong, and I'm gonna treat myself a shopping spree next monday, as it's going to be 4 weeks then! Spend the money I didn't spend on smoking! hehe
Oh my goodness! And I will not be there!
Have fun, honey! You deserve it...
Maybe bigD will put a down payment on a house with his 4 weeks of ciggie money!
Hehe! I never thought about that!
Actually, he told me that he was going to stop smoking and now we can buy a new car :-)
Buy a new car to drive to the new house !
He didn't smoke that much! And at the moment he spends some money on the Zyban pills...
Well, if he's all that healthy, you can sell the car and ride bicycles to the new house.
Wait a minute. Some of those cycles cost about as much as some houses.
You're right as usual, roger! And I don't want a house... can't ride shotgun in a house.
As long as you don't sneak in a cigarette while urs is gone
Other than that, congratulations!! THe first 2 month are the
hardest and you're getting there .....
BigD, I just saw this topic. CONGRATULATIONS
Not smoking is such an esteem builder!!
I think it is all about being capable of saying what you want to do and then DOING IT!
Saving money is a big deal, to me and a lot of other folks. Even if you are not poor or sick, it is a good thing to be 'richer and healthier'!
Years ago as I puffed away, a doctor told me, "if you can quit smoking for 21 hours, you can make it 21 days. At that point, try for 21 weeks. You will feel so good about it then, go ahead and make it for 21 months." Then, he said, "at that point- I guarantee you will not want another cigarette." (He was right!) Many '21 months' have passed since that time, and I have forgotten cigarettes and the desire to smoke-- as though it was never in my life.
I am With you all the way!!!!
Thank you, ladies! It's always good to have a cheerleading troup behind ya when you're tackling a problem like this.
And CJ, I can't do that, she's got too many snitches here in town... Good for me!

I is a going a shopping my skinny ass off today!
4 weeks is too long to get weak... which means now you'd have to get stupid...
Congratulations. You are now an ex-smoker. That's no small accomplishment. Well done.
How's it going Big D?" Still smoke free? Hoping so!
Yes, Bill, BigDice is still smoke free!!! Yeah!
Big freakin' disappointment.....
