You, Timberlandko, should be given your own posts to read, scrubbed of your name.
Atkins, your point escapes me still. I gather you disagree with me, which is perfectly fine - without disagreement there's little impetus for debate. Is it your position that, in that my position is not congruent with yours, my position is to be considered unworthy of forum?

That would make me childish. Somehow, you can not see beyond your own doorway.
I came to able2know to sit in on the politics section. I was assured that it was more civil than other forums.
You are something of a bully.

Atkins, welcome to A2K, glad to have you here. We are generally a civilized forum peopled by a number of fascinating people. Some are more interesting than others. Timberlandko is an A2K moderator, a thankless job. Maybe that is why he is sometimes a bit grumpy.

I've asked before, Atkins, and forgive me if you've answered and I've overlooked it, or if you've not yet come across that querry, but by what criteria do you define me as a bully?

Is this just for Atkins, or can anyone offer a response?
I wish you would.
He has patiently and goodnaturedly defended himself from a myriad of personal, and just regular attacks and disagreements.
How does that make HIM a bully?
He and I don't agree on everything--but I've been on hand for some really nasty attacks in his direction over the past 24 hours.
So, yeah. Point out what he has done that make him so Bully-like, please.
Thanks, lash, but I was asking timber. I'd actually prepared a response, and then decided to ask him about this - not you.

<OK.....waiting>
By all means, ehBeth, jump right in.
I do have one very serious complaint about Timberland, he was once an officer!

that would be Russian Thistle to you Ma'am. Not at all native to the american west.
In my book a conservative is a man who calls himself a pioneer; a pioneer is a man who comes to virgin country, traps off all the fur, kills off all the wild meat, cuts down all the trees, grazes off all the grass, plows the roots up and strings ten million miles of wire. A pioneer destroys things and calls it civilization when a profit can be made.
<smarty pants>
Actually. I like Russian Thistle better.
dys, I offer to you my sincerest and most humble apologies for any affront suffered by you through my having accepted a commission. In my defense, I'll say only that I was much younger then, and that I did so at the time with no conscious intent whatsoever to discomfit you. I do hope you'll forgive my youthful indiscretion, and allow us to move on together from the whole episode.
As you were. You may carry on.
Cut and pasted and pm'd what I'd written to timber. It's his, now.
Check your inbox, ehBeth.
