I can't speak for the moderators but, I can tell you that I find it mildly irritating that you are repeating a reason for Husker's ban that is not true, that you "proxy" for Husker defeating the only point of suspending his account, and that you ask people to contact you so that you can send Husker's site(s) to them for him.

It's not just dissent for a mod decision so much as it is circumventing it in just about every way and misrepresenting it. I don't think you are being deliberately malicious in doing so but it certainly has contributed to making the moderator position here more difficult and reinforces the standing policy not to get into these discussions with members over mod actions.

Whoa there, buddy. You're assuming a few things that aren't true yourself. I'd really rather not get into an argument with you here...hell, I don't want to argue with you at all!...so perhaps we should settle this by "pm." This thread is meant to support Husker while he is ill. Let's get back to that. I'll "pm" you so we can straighten this out between ourselves. I don't want this sort of situation to ever arise again, and I'm sure you don't, either.

Nah, it is about neither, i don't think. I started 'able to blog' thread, not husker. it is about a website link he posted within that thread. that led to his website which offers site hosting for pay. my bad, i wasn't clear.

The link I followed went to his own blog, not to anything offering hosting.
I know there was something where there was free hosting offered, but since I couldn't really work out the first blog I tried, I wasn't gonna follow up on a second one - yet.

The thread was pulled, as far as I can tell.

I'm glad I grabbed all the links to the blogs while it was up.

Oh well. I suppose we'll just have to believe it was best to pull it. I hope the mods will pull this one, too, if they decide to let Husker back on. Or at least edit it heavily. If he reads some of the things that have been said about him here....well....let's just say, it wouldn't exactly be helpful.

Husker has written to me requesting specifically to be updated as to what is going on here. I have done so, as asked.

He seems to be in good spirits despite all the hubub. We're fooling around with my collages to get them to the correct size to put on his personal blog.

Will you please e-mail him back and tell him to forget about all this stuff and concentrate on getting well instead? I'm afraid you have fanned the flame instead of helping to put it out, as I'm sure you intended.

I am not taking sides between Husker and Craven/moderators. I value my relationships with all of them. I will say that he has never overstepped the boundaries in dealing with me. Issues between him and the moderators should be handled between them directly and I will not address that. In the meantime, I only want to keep the lines of communication open between Husker and his friends because I feel it's important that he has our support through this medical crisis. He's always supported me.

I just heard from Husker, dag. Here's how he's doing...

"Ankle is getting closer to normal calf and around knee still seems to be swollen - but not to worry thing are getting smaller. No fevers in the night - but I do have night sweats (don't really know what that is all about). Today is my best feeling day so far (it's early but still encouraging)!! Praise God for all the prayers and thoughts of my many, many friends. Knowing that people support me makes a huge difference."
