Coulter was in Lawrence (Kansas University) last week, and was heckled from a small contingent in the crowd. I was wondering where the liberals in Kansas were .... now I know.

Not that I heard ... several large College Republicans confronted the hecklers, and soon order was restored. Cooler heads prevailed, etc.

Bill Kristol was hit with a pie earlier this week speaking at a university in Indiana ..... somebody threw salad dressing on Pat Buchanan yesterday during a speech at a college in Michigan. Will the hilarity never stop with these liberal students? You must have wet your pants, huh Cyclops?

Pie-ing has a long tradition and, until lately, didn't seem to be political. Bill Gates got pied, no big deal.

The thing I find disturbing and a little frightening is that these liberals that throw pies at people,throw salad dressing on people,etc.
Are the same ones that complain about the right "inciting violence" against the left.

Some of you seem to be saying that these attacks are good clean fun.
Would you still be saying that if those pies had had acid in them,or if that salad dressing thrown on Pat Buchanon had been acid?

What about if Buchanon had defended himself and physically hurt that student?
If he had broken that kids arm,or that kids neck in self defense,would it still have been just fun?

Why is it "fun" if a liberal attacks a conservative like that,but its assault if a conservative attacks a liberal like that?

Because liberals use pies and conservatives use bullets.

mysterman, people have considered pies in the face funny since before the three stooges even. And the name Al-Pieda is hilarious.

As to your hypothetical, do you really think that folks would find it funny that someone poured acid on another? Do you know for certain that the people who throw pies are the exact same people who complain that the right incites violence against the left? Or are you comfortable in your blanket generalizations of people whose demonization makes you feel more secure in your own beliefs.
