Flipping channels, I just saw Nancy pelosi and some black lawmakers, wearing what looked like matching African scarves, Nancy talking like she’s decided she will now move on police brutality and ‘not incremental change, but transformative change’ she said. Like we get dessert after dinner.

I despise the theater.

40 years, she’s piddled around allowing hundreds of people to be murdered.

I hope they’re thrown out. Everybody who had 40, 30 years to sit around and enrich themselves on the backs of poor people.

I’m thrilled that I believe a change is going to come—so happy to see that the people can get in the street and force change.

Defunding and restructuring how we approach all the things that have been farmed out to police will make a great difference. Bernie’s plan for police reform, although he’s not getting credit for it, is brilliant and those precepts are being mentioned by Pelosi and other people in the news.

I’m hoping we can continue to pressure politicians to continue the reform until our society is acceptable.

That were African Kente cloth scarves, used by others worldwide as well as a tribute - in your words "a theatre"- to George Floyd.

I would have preferred these police reforms to have happened decades ago so George could be playing with his daughter today. Incrementalism murdered him.

Let’s see if the current measures stick or fall to the wayside like so many other promises have for so long.

That's a very stupid thing to suggest. Policing, by the constitution, is a states matter. So unless you want a lawless dictator in the WH...

People should be insulted by this theater because that’s exactly what it is, insulting. How can one even defend the Dems when they help Trump fulfill his agenda ? Time to wake up
