@layman,
I overheard a baseball fan the other day, explaining why his team "really" won despite suffering a 13-0 shellacking.

He said: "Our pitchers had 7 strikeouts, and theirs only had 6, so clearly we outplayed them and actually won the game."

His cheese-eating homey then said: "That's brilliant! I hadn't thought about it that way. You're right!"

@coldjoint,
We'd have gone beyond the Great Recession to Great Depression v. 2.0 and still floundering to get out of it if not for Obama. Of course now we're headed for the Great Trumpian Recession, because he farted around for so long. Headed for 25% unemployment, beating out the Depression. He should change his cap to MAIA, Make America Insolvent Again.

The virus is not Trump's fault. He will triumph in November after he brings the economy back. And you probably know that anyway. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Only a Burnie beatdown of Biden will satisfy the belligerent Burnie Bros, eh?

Sanders campaign reps revolt after Sanders endorses Biden

Bernie Sanders endorsed Joe Biden for president on Monday, but any illusions that the move would bring an end to long-simmering tensions between the Democratic Party's liberal and moderate wings quickly evaporated in a matter of minutes.

Briahna Joy Gray, who served as Sanders' national press secretary, and prominent Sanders surrogate Shaun King immediately took aim at Biden -- and they made it clear just how much the former vice president's platform differed from Sanders' longstanding policy goals.

I don't endorse Joe Biden," Gray wrote. She then noted that Sanders, during the campaign, had "graciously" not mentioned Biden's "credible sexual assault allegations," "pattern of unwanted touching," involvement with Burisma Holdings, or "lying [about his] civil rights record."

King said: "I've now counted at least 50 times that @JoeBiden blatantly lied about his participation in the Civil Rights Movement from sit-ins he never participated in to marches he was not a part of, to being trained in Black churches as a boy," King wrote.

Unity? Among Democrats? I don't think so!

The only thing the Democrat party, what's left of it, will be "unified" in will be obstructing all beneficial legislation and working 24/7 trying to impeach Trump for the next 4 years.

By 2024 a new party will emerge to replace the Dems. It will probably be called something like the Globalist Socialist Worker's Party ("GAZI"). Kinda like the Nazi's, only different. They will be intent on selling out U.S, interests to every other country in the world. Their explicit agenda will be to destroy America, the worst country in history.

It has been nearly three weeks since former congressional staffer Tara Reade spoke out about her 1993 sexual assault accusation against former Vice President Joe Biden. And if you only watch CNN, you still haven't heard about it.

For 18 days Reade's claim was not covered by the biggest media outlets following her March 25 interview with progressive podcast host Katie Halper. CNN, MSNBC and the three broadcast networks did not offer any on-air coverage or articles on their websites about the alleged assault. The New York Times and The Washington Post, two papers that dedicated extensive reporting to sex assault allegations made against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018, were also mum on the matter.

In addition, in seven televised interviews Biden has done since Reade came forward with her allegation, he was never asked about it. This includes three interviews on MSNBC, two appearances on CNN and appearances on the Sunday morning news shows on ABC and NBC. Prominent anchors like Anderson Cooper, Chuck Todd and George Stephanopoulos never questioned the presumptive Democratic nominee

"The liberal media's slowness has provided a whole new meaning to the term 'kicking and screaming,' because that's exactly how the press have approached Reade's story...."Most disturbingly, the Times chose to allow the Biden campaign to edit their story."

Actress Rose McGowan, one of the sexual assault victims of disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein, took aim at the Post over its report on Reade. “This is not journalism, this is an agenda. This is a hit piece. You’ve sunk to a new low in slanted journalism and victim shaming @WashingtonPost,” McGowan tweeted. Your motto is ‘Democracy Dies in Darkness’ well I guess it’s dead because you are dark. Evil lives and it loves the DNC.”

Reade said she tried to share her story last year, but nobody listened to her. This past Thursday, she filed a criminal complaint against Biden with police in Washington, D.C.

On September 14, 2018, The New York Times reported the existence of an unverified sexual misconduct allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The story cited three people who had read a letter sent by the accuser—Christine Blasey Ford—to Sen. Diane Feinstein (D–Calif.). Ford was not interviewed for the story; indeed, she wasn't named.

Unconfirmed reports of a teenaged Kavanaugh assaulting a teenaged Ford evidently merited coverage from The Times. This prompts an obvious question: Why is the paper of record now declining to publicize a very troubling allegation against former Vice President Joe Biden?

The Times is hardly alone in this regard. The mainstream media have remained bafflingly silent about Tara Reade, a former member of then-Senator Biden's staff who claims that he sexually assaulted her in 1993

"Times up," with 10's of millions available for providing help to "survivors," refused to pursue her allegations against Biden, too.

Yeah! Those didn't get even a scintilla of coverage from the MSN either, eh?

A question posed to liberal, progressives, democrats, etc.

Which do you think would make a better chance of a win in the general election against Trump as Biden's VP choice, a black VP or a progressive of any race? I find myself going back and forth between Kamla Harris and Warren.

A black or a progressive of any race? Doesn’t “any race” include black?

I'm hoping he'll ask Harris. She's got experience in the Senate, and importantly, she's under 60.

@revelette3,
Since you're asking about a general election, the answer is obvious. Neither Warren nor Harris will have any appeal whatsover to the average voter. Sheeeit, they didn't even appeal to cheese-eaters in the primary. What's that tell ya?

Even democrats realize that they can't deny Joe's corruption and other miserable failings.

So what do they do?

They deny it.

Nice try, cheese-eaters.
