There's proof right now that all of those policies CAN be realized. Either continue to live as a slave to corporations who get all the socialism -- or turn around and walk the other way with the people, so our society can be worth living in for everybody.

The greed and hate are at a crescendo; the world is boiling.

There are people who are going to take their $1200 stimulus check and donate it to Bernie, you just know there will be.

Bernie makes promises he could never fulfill (these are called lies) and then uses these lies to brow-beat his opponents who aren't willing to sign on to Bernie's lies.

It's disgusting to watch and disgusting to see people, like Lash here, unable to come to grips with the reality of the situation because they've been lied to by this charlatan.

In return, I get all I can eat at KFC, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and take-home for midnight snacks. day in, day out.

So,who' s the real chump, I ask ya? I mean, like, I can eat a LOT.

When I leave KFC for the day, I give them a 50 gallon trash barrel and a scoop shovel which I thoughtfully provide and tell them to fill that sucker up. For midnight snacks, ya know?

Lash isn’t some waif victimized by a fraud. She’s a willing participant in the fraud. She not only gulps the Bernie koolaid, she makes and distributes it. It’s a **** show with destruction as its goal.

On Monday, the Washington Post reported that in 1983, Soviet Embassy First Secretary Vadim Kuznetsov congratulated Sanders in a letter for his reelection as mayor of Burlington. Kuznetsov, a leader of the Soviet's spy outfit, had just attended a conference in Sanders's city a few days earlier

The only reason I address her at all is to offset her constant Bernie blather. I don’t like letting her nonsense stand.

Bernie’s own people didn’t show up for him in the primaries, but we’re supposed to believe he’d mount some kind of juggernaut against Trump.

He’s an old man with a weak heart and an oversized ego that won’t allow him to do what’s in the best interest of the democrats whose party he co-opted. he’s continuing to take contributions from people and run his “campaign” as if it hasn’t been squashed.

Right now the Democrats are definitely a "fractured" party. Come November they will be a completely broken party. If they continue to exist in some minority form, we will carry on with a three-party system.

Bottom line: It's Republicans, all the way down.

And that won't change even if the new party calls itself the Turtle Party.

georgeob1, there is no cult of personality around Joe Biden; there never has been. (And he's no "dottier" than the current occupant of the WH.) The reason Sanders has so many dedicated (and so many weird) supporters is that democratic socialists, after years and years on the sidelines, have been made relevant by his candidacy. Lots of these people were alienated and talking only to each other for years, others have been waiting for this moment since their college days. The trouble is that they confuse their own enthusiasm with a self-serving belief in the inevitability of their cause, a long-held political conceit which hearkens all the way back to Old Testament mythology — the Day of Judgment when the weak prevail over the wicked. And if the voters choose differently (maybe they don't want to be led out of Egypt by Larry David) well, the brainwashed voters are simply wrong.
