Well, Ollie, for one thing, that post was intended to be ironic. It would imply that I hate myself. That said, there's some truth in it. People who hate others often hate themselves too. In fact, that's a big part of why they hate others.

Lash has never claimed to be a Dem, as far as I know. She's an "independent." If she hates Hillary, well, then, I mean, like, who doesn't, I ask ya?

She hates Trump, too, ya know?

President Trump did. And he saved countless lives in doing so.

It’s simple Olivier. I don’t hate Bernie. I never said I did. I said it makes me sick what he’s done to America these last two election cycles.

Maybe you’ve had a few glasses of wine while in self-quarantine tonight so I’ll forgive you this blatant misrepresentation of my post.

Additionally, Bernie Sanders is NOT a Democrat. So this isn’t Dem on Dem hate. Even Lash will confirm that he is not a Democrat to her this is a feature, not a bug.

I have never seen evidence at all of any anti-Semitism from anyone on the left here. Not a single instance. Anger towards Sanders is in some cases quite real but it has to do with a perception that his candidacy in both elections has had a divisive effect. Many folks believe that this was a component aspect of Hillary's loss and a Trump catastrophe. Whether correct or not, that's what you are picking up on. It isn't hate and it isn't anti-Semitism.

But in any case, this present primary season is over. The candidate is Biden other than as regards Bernie acknowledging the formalities. So let's stop arguing about this stuff. There's a catastrophe going on and we need the GOP removed from power wherever that can be managed.

Your perception of what is "counterintuitive" is a laughable illustration of your closed mind and prejudices. With respect to Lash these prejudices appear to be a common thing among the lefties here. Evidently they can't conceive of any reasonable person concluding that mainstream Democrats represent failed policies and inept leadership. In Lash's case she appears to be motivated by that and attracted by Bernie's candor, direct talk and authentic convictions, while at the same time being a bit blind to the vacuity of Sander's vague proposals - just as blind as are the other Democrats about theirs.

Either you're being intentionally disingenuous, or you have not been paying attention. Sofia Lash Goth (her various handles) has always hated the Clintons. When she initially became an alleged Sanders supporter, in 2016, she never mentioned any Sanders policy proposals, she just attacked Mrs. Clinton relentlessly. Trump having been elected, she dropped Sanders like a hot rock. In Bernie's thread about the splendid incompetence of Plump, she at one point said that Trump is her president and the Republicans are her party. She now claims that was a joke, but the context does not support that. I had a long conversation with her 16 or 17 years ago in which she described herself as a life-long conservative. That was also the time when she started a hate-filled anti-Clinton thread.

Eventually, the nickel dropped and she realized that Sanders would run again, so she got on the band wagon again. She has called me a coward (and spewed hate at others who do not support Sanders), saying I would not debate the issues. I've told to name the issue, and stop name-calling. The name-calling, of course, continues and she had not named an issue she wants to discuss. All the poling suggests that Sanders would not have a chance against Trump, but Biden might. Now Lash is attacking Biden, and "Lashing" out in her inimitable style against Biden supporters, and promoting the "Bernie-or-bust" line, which would be disastrous for the Democratic party.
