Over the last three plus years, I've yet to meet a Canadian who admits to having any use for the fellow at all. The normal opinion is that he is an unbelievably tawdry and stupid ass.

@blatham,
1. As an American, I feel obligated to apologize that Trump is our president.

2. All I can say is that I didn't vote for Trump.

Well RM, I guess that weak-ass dodge is the only way she can answer that question. She’d probably say something like “because you don’t deserve an answer”, or “it’s not worth my time”, but why do you think she really doesn’t want to answer the simple question of why Bernie the good picked the Democrats and not the GOP?

1. You are probably right.

2. All I can do is pose the question to Lash.

3. It's all up to Lash, of how she chooses to respond or not respond at all.

I hope he realizes clearly that he made a mistake. He's been cheated and maligned by the DNC twice now. We had four years to put together a system run by honest people--we'd never try to close polling places so people can't vote. We should've tried harder to rid ourselves of the corrupt DNC establishment segment in our midst.

It was a mistake.

Any chance that Sanders will run third-party in 2024?

Let those undeserving low-lives die. It's a matter of social efficiency. Jesus talked about this in his Sermon on the Mount.

Donald Trump is a despicable individual.

Whether he is despicable or not, it's important that Mr. Trump be reelected in 2020. He protects the nation from progressives who are out to violate everyone's civil liberties.

@georgeob1,
Infirmities or no, voters have decided they'd rather have Biden at half capacity than Bernie Sanders and his inflated plans for the government.

Listening to his speech the other day, I heard no gaffes or flub ups. He sounded Presidential and knowledgable. I only hope he can keep it tonight. I am not too worried about Trump. I think he has been sinking fast since this Pandemic disaster.

Sure she can, Ollie-boy. So can the head of the NAZI party. A BLM candidate can run on a "kill all the cops" platform. PETA can run a donkey for pres., whatever.

All of them might get very strong support from a very few. None of them have any chance of winning a general election, though.

She could.
She won’t come close to winning the primary (assuming Biden doesn’t win and run again).

I read somewhere that, in order to finance all of Burnie's proposed boondoggles, everyone would have to be taxed at the rate of 100% on any income over $29,000. The poverty line for a family of 4 is something like $24,000. Perfect! Now everybody can live in poverty. Commieism at it's finest, sho nuff!

That’s all he’s ever done. Same speech when interviewed. Same speech when doing a town hall. Same speech debating. Same for 30 years.

Ocasio-Cortez’s most determined adversaries are not partisan Republicans, but Democrats who say that she has been a disruptive influence. The Hill recently reported that at least one member of Congress has been urging New York party leaders to recruit a Democratic primary challenger to Ocasio-Cortez.... a more efficient means of ousting her might be simply to eliminate her district.

New York politics are famously insular, with a tight circle controlling major decision-making for years....REP. ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ is prepared for the possibility that Democrats in New York could redraw her district after the 2020 election,

She might not be around either way, eh? That would disappoint me. I wanna see her run for Pres.!

AOC is vulnerable to a primary challenge, survey finds

She’s a social media superstar — but a survey of Democrats in her Bronx-Queens 14th District has found that Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is vulnerable to a re-election challenge.

The survey, commissioned by the decidedly anti-Ocasio-Cortez “Stop The AOC” political action committee, found that 47% of Democrats in the 14th Congressional District view her favorably and 29% unfavorably, with 24% unsure.

“After surveying voters in 817 Democratic homes in the district, it’s clear Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is not sitting well with the voters she was elected to serve" said Justin Greiss, of Mobilize the Message, whose group conducted the survey for the STOP the AOC group.

The survey even claimed that a third of Democrats were open to supporting a Republican challenger in the 2020 general election.

@layman,
UPDATE: That last AOC poll was several months ago. Here's the latest:

Quote:
Poll: AOC disliked, distrusted, unwanted in her own NY district

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is viewed skeptically back in her Queens and Bronx 14th Congressional District, according to a new door-to-door survey.

It found that she has a low 21% favorability rating, that just 11% believe she has their best interests in mind, and that only 13% would vote to reelect her.

The key findings:

42% are unfamiliar with AOC.
51% have an unfavorable view of her.
33% are ready to vote against her, and only 13% would vote for her.

Well, she can always run as a third party candidate, I guess. She could probably beat out Jill Stein, at least.

There’s NO political or ideological excuse for @JoeBiden’s support for the Hyde Amendment, which translates into discrimination against poor women and women of color plain and simple. His position further endangers people already facing enormous hurdles. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/447023-biden-2020-campaign-confirms-he-supports-controversial-abortion-rule-report

@coldjoint,
Wow. This guy seems to have the evidence to support his claims and is rather persuasive. Thanks for posting that vid. Very interesting.

Well, ya still gotta give AOC credit. She went from a low-income Queens barmaid to living in high luxury. She might have overdone it, though. Nobody in her own district seems to like or trust her anymore.
