@coldjoint,
Well that's bullshit. Talking about sinister plans to take over the democratic party. That is precisely what insurgent repoublicans did with the tea party, and what cpac is trying to do with their warped ideologies or the sinister decades-long push to take over and control the federal judiciary so it decides every case from a strong right ward biased take on justice. Those are the sinister realities. His right wing bias doesn't align with her, so he claims she's a puppet. He's the one who fails.

Well, OK, then!

Quote:
Trump 'strongly considering' Flynn pardon

... a motion filed on Flynn's behalf in January that highlighted information that has come to light since Flynn's guilty plea -- including that no precise record of Flynn's statements to agents exists and that the original handwritten FD-302 witness report from the interview is "missing," with subsequent versions later "edited" in some undisclosed manner by anti-Trump FBI officials.

"It's just been one atrocity after the other," Flynn's attorney Sidney Powell told Fox News' Sean Hannity in January. "They breached the plea agreement when they tried to withdraw their motion to recommend that he was going to be given probation," she said.

"So now it is reported that, after destroying his life & the life of his wonderful family (and many others also), the FBI, working in conjunction with the Justice Department, has 'lost' the records of General Michael Flynn," Trump tweeted. "How convenient. I am strongly considering a Full Pardon!"

The Justice Department, led by Attorney General Bill Barr, is now reviewing the handling of Flynn's case.

NIce try, Mueller boys. The Donald and Billy Barr done got wise to your ****. Once pardoned, Flynn will be filing a civil lawsuit for violating his constitutional rights and wrecking his life. Comey, Weissman, and Obama will certainly be among the many co-conspirators named as defendants.

Trump has special plans for that bitch, Sally Yates, who has so far managed to stay largely in the shadows. After getting several Fox camera crews set up to film the scene from all angles, the cops will break down her door at daylight, take her drink away, handcuff her, and throw her into the back of a squad car.

It's gunna ROCK!

@layman,
After extensive polling, it was determined that Trump would get many more votes if he pardoned Flynn before, instead of after, the election.

2,113,107 voters, from all parties, were asked: "Would you vote for Trump if he pardons Flynn?"

79% said "Hell, yeah!"

Look for it no later than October, eh?

In the meantime, Trump will periodically pardon another one of the many billionaires currently locked up for tax evasion. After they contribute to his "campaign," of course. Cash only. In large suitcases. Hand delivered to Ivanka.

I left out the best part: When she later makes her perp walk into federal court, she will be sporting a hairdo with a large patch of hair missing from the top of her head. With lots of stitches on her scalp. This will be due to an accidental injury sustained while she was her trying to resist when being "escorted" into the squad car.

As I recall, Trump has foreshadowed this eventuality in his public speeches.

Bernie didn't have a direct response to Biden's critique that Italy's single payer wasn't enough, did he?

I didn't listen to the debate, but what else is new? Burnie doesn't have a "direct response" to anything (nor does Biden, for that matter).

That said, good point, Lee Fang.

Commies alway think that "if you'd only do things my way, all the world's problems would be solved."

Joey and Burnie have the same platform after you boil it all down, to wit:

I hate Trump. You do too, But I hate him even more than you and my opponent do, so vote for me!

A lot of people complain that Trump is not a refined and highly trained fighter, like Sugar Ray Leonard, or someone like that.

They're right, he's not. He's a back-alley street fighter, that's all.

He doesn't fight with fancy gloves on his mitts. He just grabs an empty beer bottle by the neck, jaggedly breaks off the end, and goes to work.

But that's good enough. He's always the one who walks out of the alley while the other guy is carried out on a stretcher.

When it comes to Trump versus Biden on a debate stage, I can only say, as Mr. T would: "I pity da fool (Biden)."

I think people might be thinking of Biden as an underdog and are just grateful when he has a good night. He had a good night last night. He effectively cut off the M4A health care as an answer to coronavirus by saying Italy has a single-payer. He showed he has experience in dealing with how big things get done in Washington. Announcing he will have a woman as a vice President was good. Bernie didn't deliver any surprises, kept to his tired lines and was grumpy and combative. If he could be specific on the details of how he could there on his proposals it would at least freshen his stump speech.

By the by, Canada is holding open the option of closing our southern border, says our PM.

And just anecdotally, an individual I know here who owns/manages rental properties targeted to the tourism industry (mainly Americans) told me yesterday that folks from Washington State are now moving up here (much earlier than the tourism season) seeking long-term rentals so as to isolate themselves from the disease spread in their state. Which of course is great for rental occupancy but worrisome in terms of unintentional spread from there to here.

People here did similar: going on the East and North Islands. So the two involved had to restrict the ferry service for locals.

@Walter Hinteler,
I expect similar situations in many places. A week ago CBC radio interviewed a Canadian who has a property in the south of Italy and who said that in the days before the broad Italian travel restrictions, many from the north (where infections are much higher) had been getting out and moving south.

PS Italy just announced 368 corona virus deaths in one day.

A revivalist church in Tampa, Florida was open today despite a global pandemic because they're "not pansies."

The pastor, Rodney Howard-Browne, is a climate change denier and, despite warnings from medical professionals, encouraged people to shake hands.
Right Wing Watch has the story if you want a closer view of insanity.

And David Nunes was on Fox yesterday urging families with no signs of infection to go out to restaurants and such.
