@Walter Hinteler,
I’m just glad you’re getting an honest view about how we’re subsisting with “healthcare” in the US.

@Lash,
All that has little to do with unions - most is labour and social law.

Teachers are paid according to the "Collective agreement for the public sector in the states" = more or less the same in every state.

@Walter Hinteler,
Curious, is that three years over a lifetime of per child?
(either way, it's good)

Bit of a Freudian slip...while stumping for @JoeBiden just now in Grand Rapids, MI @amyklobuchar says she “couldn’t think of a better way to end my candidacy than join the ticket...” to big applause. She quickly corrected to say “join the terrific campaign of Joe Biden”

I can’t imagine the stability that kind of investment in families creates for a society. And I’ll probably never know.

There is no doubt Biden will pick a woman for VP, at least in my mind. I do not think Biden will have that much say in it. The party elite will pick her.

@Lash,
Until about a week ago, Klobuchar was still on the campaign trail herself. It takes a bit of adjustment time to settle into a different mode.

For some. I think she’s been asked. Time will tell.

Do not count Gillibrand out. She is a chameleon and will do and say what she is told. Remember if Biden is elected his own party will oust him with the 25th amendment.

We have states where you cannot have unions. "Right to Work" is the law.

People are allowed to form unions in those states. They just can't force someone to join their union against their will.

Perhaps. Perhaps not.

I am far from a proponent of Magic Money Tree economics, but I am also not certain that it doesn't work.

It caries through the air over short distances. So if someone is coughing nearby, you can get it from being in proximity to them.

It doesn't travel far in the air. And it does not linger in the air. But keep your distance from someone with a persistent dry cough.

@oralloy,
You can be fired for trying to form a union. You can be fired without a reason.

And to reiterate one more time... Sanders isn't my choice but if he becomes the nominee, then 100% for him.
