All that has little to do with unions - most is labour and social law.

Teachers are paid according to the "Collective agreement for the public sector in the states" = more or less the same in every state.

Bit of a Freudian slip...while stumping for @JoeBiden just now in Grand Rapids, MI @amyklobuchar says she “couldn’t think of a better way to end my candidacy than join the ticket...” to big applause. She quickly corrected to say “join the terrific campaign of Joe Biden”

There is no doubt Biden will pick a woman for VP, at least in my mind. I do not think Biden will have that much say in it. The party elite will pick her.

Until about a week ago, Klobuchar was still on the campaign trail herself. It takes a bit of adjustment time to settle into a different mode.
