Because that's what good dems do. Reach across the aisle [move to the right] in the name of "bipartisanship" and "civility"

In short, take one step forward, two back.

Do not look for nobility from the Democrats in any form. They have shown how ruthless they are, why change now?

You do realize you are insulting Americans doing their jobs. Why would you do that?

I insult their ideas too. Not what they do for a living.

I think being critical of actions that people take that cause harm to children of poor immmigrants is worth of criticism and even, gasp, verbal or written insults.

I’ve been hearing this week, like I do every Christmas, how we are a Christian country.

It really shows. It really does. Jesus would have thrown the tear gas for sure.

I never heard Jesus say not to defend yourself and country. In fact he made the distinction between his law and mans. Anything nice to say about Jews?

I thought it was because the first vote was split between two Republicans.

But you do, you insult the work, the ideals, the morals, every time you post you degrade the citizens of this country. Why do you do that?

Democrats routed Republicans in this month’s midterm elections. The likely 40 House seats that flipped are the most for Democrats since Watergate.

Democratic House candidates received a historic amount of votes across the country and broke the unified Republican control of U.S. government under President Donald Trump.

Enter Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

The New York Democrat, who has made a series of pointless deals allowing confirmations of dozens of Trump judicial nominees, said on Tuesday that he’s willing to offer Trump $1.6 billion for border security.

CNN’s Manu Raju reported that Schumer was willing to provide the president with $1.6 billion in funding for his border wall, but later clarified that the offer was for border security funding.
