Such great fun ganging up on him though!

I hear that they once ganged up on another conservative poster and drove her from this site. Firefox or foxfire or something.

Unfortunately for the left, I always stand up to bullies.

That's one of the reasons why leftists are bad for America. They think that "people disagreeing with them" is cause to wage holy war against them.

It's really the same thing that is driving the witch hunt against our president, just on a smaller scale.

You missed the point, both sides say things about each other. You were making it sound like only one side of the aisle has done this... then you go and prove my exact point. Thank you for playing along MJ, I can always count on you.

Yes, they did and it was sickening.

No offense, but she didn't come anywhere near close to you in terms of being opinionated and combative.

@Finn dAbuzz,
None taken.

If I had known about it, I would have stepped in and defended her just as vigorously as I defend myself.

For some reason she and I stayed to different threads and never crossed paths. I didn't know anything about her until I heard the story about how the leftists here lynched her.

I always have to remind people that, Fox News withstanding, the Fox News poll is legitimate and respected. There’s a mountain of information in the one released this afternoon. (Full results here.)

You may have seen the toplines. Trump fails to get to 40% against any of the top Democratic contenders...

You won't get this unless you have a TPM membership. But Fox should have the poll posted somewhere.

I remember the day I was conceived. Couldn't see anything as it was dark, always. Fortunately I could swim.

I do not engage in a storm of name-calling and personal attacks against those who want to violate people's civil liberties.

I merely explain to them that their desire to violate people's civil liberties is wrong, and I tell them that the NRA will not permit them to do such a thing.

@oralloy,
Ant thousands of people whose civil liberties you claim your side is protecting violate Americans' civii rights by murdering them every year. Not an acceptable trade off.

@MontereyJack,
There is no such trade off. Our civil liberties do not play any role in these murders to begin with.

The NRA is a lobby group that pays elected officials to vote against reform. As soon as the NRA goes under, which by the way it looks now to be any day, then our elected Congressional and Senate leaders will be unshackled to vote as their constituents want - without violating the 2nd Amendment.

"Going away?" Nonsense, and even if that was the case a new organization would be up and running in weeks.

The NRA is a lobby group that pays elected officials to vote against 2nd Amendment infringements.

PlannedParenthood is a lobby group that pays elected officials to vote against preserving the right to life of the innocent unborn.

See how that works?

It should say nonsense reform, because that's a majority of what the left tries to pass. If it was really reasonable, then you would have a majority of gun owners behind you.

We all know you are talking about GOP politicians, and it seems to me that they do vote the way their constituents want them to, they keep getting reelected.

A majority of what you want does indeed violate the 2nd Amendment or it fails to address the real issues of gun violence, people.

That is incorrect. The Second Amendment forbids restrictions that cannot be justified as serving a compelling government interest.

It will if we have a tyrant in charge, and since most of you think Trump is such a tyrant I would have thought you would want "the people" to have the means to oppose him.
