Beto may have lost more votes than he gained. Maybe not. He spoke out for justice in police officer's shooting of an unarmed black man in his own apartment. He decried smearing the man's character over items found in his apartment ( some of which I personally think likely planted).
Racism runs deep.

There, a group of alumni and professors circulated an open letter declaring that selecting Kavanaugh “presents an emergency — for democratic life, for our safety and freedom, for the future of our country.” People “will die” if Kavanaugh is confirmed, the letter announced. By the time of the hearings, Kavanaugh had gone from being a future murderer to an actual one.

It might as well be called programing.

Those people teach our children.

This guy is openly a hater.

You are being conned. None of this has anything to with educating young adults, it has to do with indoctrination and fascists dictating what they see as social order.

And you think you are an important cog in the wheel when you are just another brick in the wall.

I was at the Nixon–Teachout party, and when your results came in, everyone started cheering. In general, there’s been a ton of support for and cross-endorsements from these progressive women all running at the same time in New York State. What was it like to work with each other?

I will say, running as a suite of anti-IDC candidates was incredibly helpful because it made the message amplified in a way that touched a lot of people, because our districts are really close. It really reverberated off of the walls. In terms of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s support, she was instrumental in helping me organize. The fact that her district overlaps with mine is just remarkable because a lot of the people already knew about her, so any contact that she makes with them, she could reach our voters, too. That’s a very big deal. Having her support, especially this last spring, was just invaluable.
